A New Experiment: DF Retro Marathons (Patreon)
Content
Last week, we met up to talk with our great friends at My Life in Gaming and during the course of the conversation, Coury and Marc discussed their success on YouTube in combining videos together and producing 'marathon' edits. We launched DF Clips because there's an audience for people that want smaller, more digestible videos but having looked at the data MLiG shared with us, we're convinced there's an audience for these much longer 'marathon' edits too.
We're looking to give this a try bearing in mind that many of our DF Retro videos are given to our Retro supporters as multi-hour epics, then cut down into smaller episodes for public release. Our first experiment is the original DF Retro Supporter edit of our mammoth PS1 launch game video, weighing in at 166 minutes of high quality #content. It'll be going live on Sunday afternoon.
This OG edit was already made available to all supporters back in the day, with download options available, but here it is again in case you missed it.
