Hello, everyone!

If you read last week's belated Progress Report, then you're likely aware of how hectic of a week I had last week. And it probably won't surprise you to learn I haven't made any measurable progress on Overbreed since that post was made on Tuesday.

Indeed, Tuesday was spent making the posted animation. Wednesday was a regularly-schedule streaming day. Thursday is my scheduled day off. And then today, Friday, I decided to spend finally working on the Blue Star bible that I mentioned several months ago, seeing as Blue Star Episode 4 is finally on the horizon, with Wolves' progress on the new Jack model.

I didn't manage to finish the bible, though. I've only gotten the first 2 seasons, of the planned 3, written out, with one exception. While I have broad-strokes plans for the entire series, season 3 is just too nebulous for me to confidently write out right now. I am hoping to work on over the next few weeks and iron out the details of what happens. There is also an episode in season 2 that needs to be worked out as well.

The astute among you may have observed a change in the organization of the episodes, from earlier discussions. I have stated previously that the series has 20 planned episodes: 5 in season 1, 10 in season 2, and 5 in season 3. The doubling of episodes in season 2 was due to a doubling in the main characters followed.

However, while writing this out, I had a revelation: rather than having 10 anemic episodes that will likely need padding to reach my goal of 30+ minute episodes for Episode 4 onward, I can combine the stories into 5 tightly-packed episodes. The stories were tied thematically already, I didn't change any of them--all I did was group them together.

Now, the seasons are a clean, balanced 5/5/5, for a total of 15 episodes.

This outline is intentionally terse. It was originally over a thousand words longer than it is now--I have a natural tendency to write in flowing prose, if you've somehow been unable to deduce that from all of these progress reports. Once I had written the first two seasons out, I went back and stripped the prose out, reducing everything to short, terse sentences. It is an outline. It should read as such.

Until the bible is properly finished, I am keeping it behind the $5 WIP tier. Once it is fully written out, it will be pushed out onto the $2 Texts tier.

The text, as it exists now, is attached to the bottom of this post. If you want to keep the narrative beats of the series a surprise, then you probably shouldn't read the Blue Star bible, neither the current form nor especially the final form.

Note that specifics are subject to change between now and the finished text, and things are subject to change between the finished text and the produced videos.

This is all I have for now. Hopefully next week, I will actually have some time to get work done. Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday should all be free for me to get work done. We'll see how well that works out.
