Lucy doesn't say it in words, but you can tell by her body language that she got attached to David pretty early on. Even when she betrayed him, she never took her eyes off him when he talked to Maine and stepped in every time he threatened to kill David. Honestly, I love how expressive they were able to make the characters without relying entirely on dialogue.

I've seen well over 200 anime series inlcuding all the mainstream ones and can easily put this at my #1 and maybe #2 if future seasons of my favorites animes happening to top their previous seasons. This show takes a generic plot and turns it in the best possible character development and world building that you can from the starting plot.

I mean CSM isn't that great so far nothing incredible happened yet to justify the hype. Yea I mean it feels like it's gonna be cool but so far dude had missing body part, died just to come back to life with all of them fully functioning and powers. He had 2 cool fights and that's about it and he's a mega simp who just happens to be honest about it, to blatantly say it was worth the hype when nothing really happened is weird. I agree with you on edgerunners being overhyped I think a lot of the shows flaws come from bad writing but the action and art is top tier and if you played cyberpunk their is no way you wouldn't appreciate the actual feel of the game and locations.

Honestly this episode was just them trying too hard to be funny. A lot of misses compared to hits with their jokes. I got a little annoyed as well. I vibe with jokes they make every so often but when they push it too hard and literally stop paying attention to the episode it annoys me. Sheera has issues where she either tries to make a bunch of jokes but a lot of the time they just miss or she pushes the horny shit too much where she makes anything in the show they happen to watch just be a sexual thing. I like it cause she has no filter with the horny shit but sometimes she stretches it too much and does it at times where it is frustrating more than anything.

I’ve read mixed things about the Lucy dub but I loved her voice in this episode, especially in the ending scene. Other times it feels a bit off, especially on some scenes where she tries to inject emotion and it feels too forced. I think it worked great here, unique and kind of soothing. Anyways, this is one of my favorite episodes, but there are some serious bangers in the future.

P.s. one of the most memorable times they sex joked was that one anime, forgot the name ( Misfit Academy? Something Misfit ) but the MC made a guy think he was burning alive. He keeled over and Sheera and Roshi pointed out his ass. Lupa physically reacted, throwing up his hands up and said " YEEAA?? You two niggas ALWAYS do this. A great episode and yeah fit rip to Pilar. Poor Rebecca losing her brother, you notice she was too small for Maine's shotgun and so she missed her shot. Also yeah the more the Dub goes in. The more I prefer Sub Lucy's voice. I think Main sounds pretty sick in both, Dorio actually is pretty good in Dub. David's is allright. Oh one more sick thing! The Afterlife Bar is a real thing in game. As well as all the locations and Gangs they fight etc. The Afterlife Bar has tons of drinks named after legends like Johnny Silverhands and stuff
