Holy Fuck, I am not even 7 minutes into this episode but it is already so damn EPIC I keep rewatching it, lolol. Sypha was my favorite but Trevor started gaining on her when he showed his cool fighting style with those chains, but then Sypha fricken produced LIGHTNING, nah she the best one man, such mastery over the elements, such finesse, she is so graceful with her fighting style too, amazing!

it wouldn't have mattered, they would have just thought he sabotaged them, they were sociopaths and Narcists, they never wanted Alucards help with "Taking revenge" they wanted to build an empire using Draculas technology and the castle, punish the world for harming them, they were way to far gone and who knows how many they killed to reach their goal.

Great finale. Still kinda bummed that alucard turning into his father never went anywhere, seeing as he immediately went to help the very next person to ask him with basically no persuasion needed. That has more to do with season 4 being rushed than this season though.

To answer to Lupa, that last shot of Trevor killing the demon was Tam lu, an inhouse animator of Powerhouse, the Texan animation studio that did the show.

It is a American studio called powerhouse but they also had a outsourced partner called Tiger Animation [formerly MUA Film] in Seoul, Korea as a animation partner. Kind of the same formula with The last Airbender since they also had outsource animation help from a south korean studio

So I can't really explain the flames going all the way up both whips when Trevor was winding up at the end (prob just animation fun), but I think the idea behind the huge explosion at the end is that Trevor timed the small explosion from the Morningstar with the sonic boom that's created when a whip cracks. I doubt that makes a lick of sense in terms of the actual physics, but it's cool enough for me to be head-canon at least.

I remember in one of the seasons there was an enemy that was like a bird demon carrying a demon with a spear and that was like one of the first mini bosses you fought in symphony of the night.

And so ends the season with four plot lines that literally NEVER intersected -- closest we came was Isaac seeing Styria in a viewing mirror once or twice. Such a weird structure, but the animation, action, characters, and dialogue were all so dope it still somehow works.

My problem with this season really was there was no clear goal or any real main storyline, it was just different stories from 4 different perspectives. After Dracula died the whole main storyline got clapped.

I agree that this season was different and left me feeling weird but I think the whole point of it was to show that just cause Dracula was gone, doesn't mean the world is now a happy place. Evil persists beyond Dracula and evil can exist where you least suspect it. Trevor sums it up by saying there were living the fantasy that Sypha dreamed about in stories, fighting the big bad and then happily ever after. But now they were living his life, one of darkness and death where somedays you don't see the light at the end of the tunnel....just the dark.
