The frozen side of Hell is a reference to Cocytus in Dante's Inferno, the lowest level of Hell, which he describes as a frozen lake, its also where he confronted the Devil. Its basically telling you that Dracula is in that final circle of Hell and it alludes to the previous episodes when people would constantly call him the Devil and him now being where the Devil is said to be trapped. (At least that's what I got from it, but I probably was looking to into it.)

Yeah, S3 is a hit and miss for me. Mostly hit, but the whole shit with Alucard just kindof pissed me off lol. Good season, but imo, they ruined Alucard little arc in this. (Before people get piss, if you enjoyed it, its all fine. It just didn't work for me.)

Yeah I get why they did it cause with how fucking insane everybody else’s arc was his’ was supposed to be “calmer” & more personal but the way they did it felt “rushed” to me. I don’t find anything wrong with it except for the pay off. Cause it felt like they didn’t spend enough time on it and the twist still kinda feels like somebody said “shit we gotta have some big set piece to end it with a bang like everybody else.” Taka & Sumi felt “flat” to me and that’s part of my issue with it and probably why to me it felt rushed
