This series is like 23 volumes long. To put that into perspective, the first batch of 11 episodes covers most of the first three volumes. Since they literally founded the studio just to the animate this show, there's a decent chance you're looking at a 100-ish episode anime.

I don't disagree. Kazuma trying to get it with Megumin in the movie was gross, Hisoma staring at Gon and Killua's butts was gross. However, even if it being played off as gags isn't enough, the authors aren't trying to tell you that these characters are good people. In fact in this show it's a point you're supposed to feel disgusted by this gross bum who was beat up by his family who feel the same feelings as you. It's a part of the character, while awful, is still there for him to grow from.

For the love of God people, your forgetting that this story has a medieval setting and though the average age of marriage durring that period was approximately 18-21, it was not uncommon for people to be engaged or outright married at ~15. Hell apprenticeships lasted between ages 10-15, at which point a child was not only considered an adult but extpect to go into business for themselves. A large portion of you are applying the lens of modernity to a setting in which it is completely incompatible. There's a litany things depicted in media that we ourselves do not partake in, and there's plenty of examples in anime alone. Just because something doesn't conform to our modern sensibilities does not mean it is inherently a bad depiction. Please enjoy it for what it is!! P.S. I should mention, the reactions are great Please keep them comming!! I'm just sick and tired of seeing people post comments about there sensibilities completely ignorant to the setting and facts
