I think you guys were confusing an meteor with a comet lol The comet makes an orbit around the Sun and is coming back around to pass by Earth after 100 years. It never actually came down to earth. Or at least that's the understanding I got from this.

Btw they didn't control the comet with fire bending, the comet increased their fire bending power by like x10. That would've been insane if they could fire bend the comet though. Great reaction guys, keep it up!

You guys shouldn’t look at Firebenders as being evil and the other nations as good people. When you are at war you think what ever side you’re on is the good side. Obviously we know as the audience the fire nation starting the war was wrong but the people in the fire nation are programmed to see themselves as the good guys through propaganda.

I guess. But Aang literally asked "The comet made them stronger?" And Roku replied saying yes. I've never talked to anyone who took it any other way but if you put it like that I guess it could be somewhat vague.

The biggest part of this that ppl always miss is that Roku was a bad ass earth bender like holy shit he used that lava to destroy everything who cares bout the fire like OMG ITS LAVA (lava is earth bender stuff)

yeah not all fire benders are bad guys in fact most of them are just soldiers following orders and im sure regular citizens don't really know the terrible shit they do it's war.

People don't always miss this, when the show first came out lava was assumed to be a firebender thing like when the firebending Avatar bends lava out of volcano in the Avatar State episode.

It's funny that when Admiral Zhao ordered his men to stop the engines to let Zuko pass that his ships literally stopped on a dime. Not how physics work. Boats can't stop on a dime. If you don't believe me, go watch a little known movie called Titanic lol.
