I agree that small naturally occurring fires are healthy and can cause new growth but those big fires leave deeeeep scars that are still visible after many years of new vegetation. I think it was more the feeling of hurt & betrayal that had the spirit spazzing out, not that it didn’t realize new growth would happen eventually.
