Katara Hariett Tubman 😅😂😂 No but seriously I love how this show fleshes out all the characters. Katara's not just a love interest, she has her own motivations, ambitions, and values that she sticks to. In a world of "Fire Supremacy", genocide, slavery, and constant injustices, she still keeps a fighting spirit and hope that the people's resistance can make a change. A true revolutionary.

Roshi, to answer your question, I can’t say for sure whether they could pull earth from the ocean floor but in the end, it depends on the combination of talent and skill the bender has paired with the potential constraints on the element they’re bending. I won’t say too much cause it’ll spoil it for you but, just be prepared to meet some benders with strange and powerful abilities.

You know, the crazy thing is, probably the only thing they damaged in episode 5 that can't be replaced is Cabbage Man's cabbages. Everything with a very few exceptions in Omashu is made out of stone so an earthbender can just fix it instantly and with ease. Even that dude's vase was probably a piece of cake. It's hard wrapping your head around the dynamics of this world at first. As things go on, you'll get comfortable with the fact that shit that would take months to repair in the real world (like whole cities and the like) are just a snap-of-the-finger sort of situation in ATLAB-world.

Great reaction and great show. Glad y'all are enjoying it. But yeah do remember that it's still a kids show so the baddies have to be kinda bafoonish at times, to the point where it makes you question the series premise of their dominance a bit. In regards to how the fire nation even managed to beat all those earth benders, it's probably an answer in that the fire nation has technology to make up for any of their weaknesses (which are still overall few), since even if you have a village full of earth benders, what are you gonna do about the fire nation ship sitting out of range off the coast launching flaming mortars at all your houses, crops, livestock, etc. Sure a temporary rock dome would stop immediate casualties, but no light and eventually everyone needs food, and also being encased in stone with a lot of fire nearby is just like being in an oven, so probably the village would have no choice but to surrender in hopes of mercy. I know they're portrayed often as comically inept, but that's cause the fire nation has to serve the role of generic baddies that the crew can deal with so you're stuck with like some really dumb fire nation soldiers that makes you wonder why the other nations had any trouble with at all.

2021-08-31 14:13:01 Since no one ever answered, no that wasn’t Goliath. Goliath is voiced by the legend Keith David (voice of spawn and recently the president on rock and Morty). Haru’s dad is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson. He and Khary Peyton together are “the nigga who voices all the black characters” from Young Justice and Invincible reactions. He has range. He’s also Cleveland Jr, Jerome, Principal Lewis, the Mauler Twins, Dexter’s sister DeeDee, Green Lantern, and the big black nigga from lilo & stitch, and a shit ton more
