Different kinds of magic (Patreon)

Trixie pirouetted one last time as the music came to an end. With her arms still raised above her head she looked over at Starlight who had been sitting silently on couch through her performance. She smiled at the mare.

    "While the Great and Powerful Trixie is stage magician who's routines are without equal! It's still prudent to always be considering new and different ways one can expand, grow, and adapt one's performances so they remain fresh and new." 

   The blue mare lowered her arms and rested her hands on her hips. "So Starlight. What do you think? I'm considering a Saddle Arabian themed performance for next year. After all there are many different kinds of magic."

   Starlight blinked a couple of times before speaking up. "Um, well. I think this has the potential of creating a completely different performance from your regular act. Bbbuuuttt to be a successful you will need to have a repertoire of dance routines that you can vary and mix up to keep the performances fresh and encourage repeat viewings by your fans. Sssooo before I can give an honest assessment I will need to, um, uh see a few more examples of this proposed routine." The mare blushed a little. "Um, if you don't mind."

   Trixie grinned at her partner and then used her levitation to toggle the track on the playlist. Then she started dancing again.

   Starlight watched intently.

    This is final piece I started during last night's Picarto stream. It was a request for Trixie to be belly dancing. I've been intending to do a series of belly dancing ponies anyways. So I used it as a reason to get it started. The story above is what popped into my head as I was drawing the piece.
