I just realized Noah's Ark was a Tardis how else could 2of each creature fit.

Spectre

Again, Magus' comment tells you what I came to the comments to mention. The 'timeless child' was the thing I liked least from Jodi's run, since it pretty much undoes all of the lore up to that point. It really just felt like a way to force-feed diversity into the Doctor, rather than organically adding diversity as Dr Who continued to run, which really wasn't necessary. Hartnell is the first doctor, changing that just to add more female 'representation' doesn't make things better, it just made even more people look and Jodi's run and decide it was trash. Better writing could have made Jodi's run at least decent, if not great, it's really hard to know how she would have done with better to work with, but the 'timeless children' just added another thing for older fans to dislike. I know a lot of people who hated Jodi's run for both that and the Flux, but were hopeful that it would somehow be written out (restoring Hartnell as Doctor One). That could still happen, I guess, but it's looking a lot less likely with the mentioning of it this episode. It's a shame, because that means, once these Tennett specials are done, that's even more people that are going to completely tune out of what was once such a great franchise. Maybe they'll watch the last special, or an episode or two of the new season, but nothing so far has shown a particular upgrade in the writing quality and storytelling. Ten and Donna are fantastic, some parts of the episodes are great, but they aren't really memorable enough especially for a 60th anniversary set or specials. I've ranted long enough. I just want to love Dr Who again so much. And I want other people to love it, too. As it is, though, any time I recommend Dr Who I feel like I have to say "stop after Capaldi and Clara, though, because the writing fall's off" and that's a huge bemmer.
