It finally happened. My computer has died. I'm not super tech savvy but I think the fan failed in the night causing it to overheat. All I know is that it will no longer boot up.

I don't have the means to replace it at the moment so I'm trying to figure out what the hell I'm going to do. I'll be seeing what I can sell but the truth is that I don't actually own much of real value.

I'm not sure how long this is going to have me out of commission so I understand if you decide to cancel your pledges. I wish I had something positive to say here but this situation has got me pretty fucked up.

If a fan died and the computer doesn't boot anymore, it sounds like your cpu fan died. Without a working cpu fan, the computer won't boot by default. There are plenty of safety features in place to make sure your computer doesn't fry itself when a random fan dies. If you have some time, I'm willing to help you troubleshoot the problem.
