Fun movies are great -- I love 'em -- but would anyone be interested in a "great movies" poll (for example, rated 3.7 or higher on Letterboxd)? Just for a change of pace once in a while. For reference, Witness is rated 3.7 on LB. Full Metal Jacket (4.2), Platoon (4.0), or Do The Right Thing (4.4) would also have been cool 80s picks. https://letterboxd.com/film/witness/

Issue with that as a poll is there may be a lot of movies with those same rating that will still push those particular movies to out of the overall running again. “Great movies” 3.7 and higher is very broad.

Why didn‘t Ghostbusters make the poll? My comment had 50 likes

Pretty sure it's because they've already seen it. They were 'hearting' movies they hadn't seen yet.
