You are right captain marvel (carol) was originally called Ms. Marvel before she became captain. This Ms Marvel Is Carols biggest fan so she took her old name.

So now we need a animation poll in the near future, because Rob & Trin need to see Mulan (1998) 😜😆 Very happy you guys enjoyed the first episode of Ms. Marvel. I have only watched this show once all the way thru. I have seen many an edited reaction, but it hits differently when watching it uncut. I teared up a little bit at certain parts in this episode that I don’t remember hitting me that hard the first watch thru. Because I am fully up to date with where the MCU is, I can certainly appreciate things in this that I didn’t the first time watching it. No spoilers, but I have always said that I absolutely LOVE the way the interconnected stories can pull so much more emotion, depth, and meaning.
