I'm back this week with the Underdark  Crossing (30x40), a very rare Underdark map! As I mentioned last week, I was feeling like it was about time to move on from all the Haunted Forest maps and try something new, and while I was looking around the internet for inspiration I realized that there really aren't that many Underdark maps and fewer that stood out to me. So I was thinking I would spend a little time trying to whip up some interesting ones, starting here with a mix of 2 common themes that come to mind when I think of the Underdark- mushroom forests and crystal caves. Now I have to ask, Patrons, which direction do we travel from here?

You are absolutely right. There aren't that many Underdark maps. If you could churn out a few more, I for one would appreciate it.

I love this map, and I second the endorsement for more underdark maps!

Maybe its because not everybody is playing D&D and few fantasy worlds have something similar to the Underdark. One could use it as ordinary caves but for my taste the look is too special.

That's a solid point! I won't plan on making this an extended run then and I'll continue to make these somewhat universe-agnostic; mushroom or crystal caverns are generically fantastical enough to fit many RPGs.
