Shattered Coast, Expert (Patreon)

Hi Experts! This week's map is the Shattered Coast (40x50), my biggest map to date! This bad boy features a smattering of smallish islands, many of which could have been their own map if I felt like cutting it all up and not working for a month. Hey wait a minute. That's actually kinda a good idea? Maybe someday I'll release a map and then, the next week, release another map that 'seamlessly' connects to the previous, but in reality they're both just a single gigantic map that I've released in 2 parts. Ok, don't tell the rest of the patrons, but I might actually do that someday, and you'll know exactly what happened, but you'll be cool about it, right?

Anyway, your extra versions of this map are Eerie and Mystical! Eerie stars some fairly spooky lighting and colors as well as a light fog drifting in off the water, perfect for hiding looming monstrous figures just off the coast. Mystical is a little silly- I've thrown caution to the wind and added all kinds of lighting and colors that are almost like my Fey palette, but a bit more shadowy and slightly darker overall. It's a bit weird, but I really like how it turned out!

PS. This map was so big that I couldn't lower the file size enough to meet Patreon's file size limit (200MB), not even splitting it into 3rds did the job. So I guess I have to host the file elsewhere now, which is annoying but unavoidable. If you're reading this in the future and the link below is dead, that's either because I stopped paying for Dropbox or I accidentally deleted it- my bad.
