Skull Island (Patreon)

I'm back with the first spooky map of the year, the Skull Island (35x35), though you could argue that many of my maps are spooky in less obvious ways. This Halloween season I've decided to throw subtlety out the window and dive in with straightforward horror right off the bat. So I drew up a little island with a giant skull on. Oh, and because this one is a little weird I made an extra version for everyone with the eye sockets glowing, because we're already getting silly with it so why not.

In other news, I got my covid booster early last week and I had every side effect in the books, which effectively kept me in bed, shivering and exhausted for 2 days, with only just enough strength left to read hundreds of issues of One Piece. In short, this is the Halloween map I had the time to make and the theme I had in mind, and I feel like it turned out to be really cool! I just like drawing skeletons, is that so wrong? I'll hopefully be making something a little more subtly spooky for my next map, so look forward to it sometime in the next week!
