Hello folks! This week's map is the Garden Temple (22x32), a nice standalone area that you can drop into a city, village, or even the middle of the forest if you want! I decided that the map didn't necessarily need an outside area, so rather than add in city streets or trees I would leave the environment up to you rather than limiting the map's usefulness.

I think I would introduce this location as a haven in dangerous lands, somewhere that the players have been told they can find safety in the middle of a treacherous forest. In fact maybe when they arrive they're asked to help defend the temple against evil forces who wish to overrun the place, or maybe the evil is within?

Next week's map is the Rocky Harbor, ending this stint of somewhat more exotic locations than I typically make. I think I'll try my best to make it look like a bustling place, but the real question is how I'll manage to avoid drawing large boats. See you then!

Adepts can find their post here!

Beautiful! I love it

This is really neat! How difficult would be to make the white parts of the map transparent so we could make it a part of another area? Totally understand if that's too far from what you'd like to do though.

Always stoked when you do building interiors! They’re hard to find. Thanks for this one.

Open in GIMP, Select the part that you want to make transparent (outside the walls including the shadow of the walls), Layers/Transparency/Add alpha channel, Layer/Transparency/Color to Alpha (choose white). It is done, export as png.

This would also work as a theater!

I see an enchanted greenhouse with an encounter of animated plants!

Hey there! I've been going back and redownloading some of maps I missed the last few months. I *love* your work, and I'm happy to chip in. If I could make a request though, could you include all the maps for the regular level in the adept/expert level downloads? As it is I have to go through and download two zip files for every single post you do, export them, combine them, and then put them where I can use them. Like I said, your work is great and I've been using your maps all year, but by combining those downloads you'd make things a little easier on us if we miss downloading things as you post them. Thanks!

Hey Michael, thank you very much! I have been doing that recently actually; since Forest Outcrop, which I think was released mid May, all the regular files have been included in the Adept zip. Recently I've been adding them under the subfolders 'Day' and 'Night'
