Hello everyone and welcome back once again for another map, this time a complete redo of one of my previous maps, the Forest Graveyard (30x24)! It isn't just any map either, the original was my first map, the one I started Neutral Party with, posted on April 4th last year. To celebrate, I wanted to draw it one more time so as to see the progression. It's been a hell of a year, and as I mentioned last week I'm incredibly thankful for all of you for supporting me in this, it blows my mind that I get to make art for a living.

I hope you like this week's map and don't mind too much that it's been done before, next time I'll be continuing to make maps from the last poll so make sure to stop by!

Also, to celebrate, I'd be happy to answer any questions that anyone might have for me or just chat, so feel free to drop a comment, I'll respond to everyone who's interested!

Here's to another year and many more maps!

Adepts can find their post here, and a fall recoloring here!

I love seeing the progression! So who has been your favorite character to play?

neutralparty

Thanks! I usually DM, but I've been playing a divine soul sorcerer named Viltir and he's been a lot of fun. As it's a Tomb of Annihilation campaign and he's a merchant priest of Wuakeen, he's struggling to find useful ways to use his money in the jungles of Chult. Fortunately, he bought as much insect repellant as he could before setting off for the jungles, so he's been getting by through bartering ;)

Hello Neutral Party I absolutely adore your maps, and use them constantly. I've been using them on this VTT that's in beta release called Foundry, and they look amazing there, and perform well. However, setting them up can be a slight hassle (not a big one, but it builds up over time) because setting up each map inside Foundry requires knowing the size of each grid square. Would you be so kind as to specify the size of a grid square when you release maps? Kindest Regards.

Hey Leon, thank you very much! The JPGs I bundle in my more recent maps' .ZIPs are at a resolution of 111 px/in. I use this resolution for no particular reason other than that I try to keep the individual file sizes below 5mb (for free Roll20 users) and I don't want to reduce the image's quality. I probably should have picked a more standard number than 111, but I started using it at one point and stuck with it to keep things consistent. Hopefully that helps!

Hey I love your maps and the style you put into them. I wanted to ask if youre willing to take commissions for dungeon maps? I know this is normally a 5$ tier but I wanted to just check.

neutralparty

Thanks, and I do! The intent behind the $5 tier is that it's an extremely heavy discount for something that would usually cost $100 or more, but if the price is fine by you then shoot me a DM!

Hey Neutral Party! Any plans on releasing a modular map pack so we can build branching dungeons?

neutralparty

Hey Leo! I actually have put some thought into it and I'm planning on adding modular dungeons as an option on my next poll. I think that kind of project can take just as long as a regular map to do well, so I think it would have to be one week's project. It might not get much interest though- I had put 'Token Pack' as an option last time and it didn't do well. Be sure to vote for it, the next poll should be in about a month!
