There might possibly allegedly seemingly hopefully be a light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it is not an approaching train. 🚅

The electricians have been drilling holes in walls, cutting power, running conduit, and generally making a huge mess and a lot of noise all week. They reported yesterday (Saturday) that they were expecting to be done on Monday or Tuesday. I was incredulous, so we took a closer look at the scope of work and got all of that ironed out. Still, dare I hope that this nightmare will be over by next weekend? We shall see.

Once the electricians have gone, we will still need to repair all the walls, move furniture and equipment back into place, and so on. After that, I will have to *finally* plug in my poor neglected new beast and *IF* it works, I will have to take inventory of what has been permanently lost, what can be reasonably recovered, and I have a literal shit-ton of applications to reinstall.

It is going to take me *months* to become fully functional again. However, once I have Photoshop reinstalled, I can release images that I have already created but have never posted before - if they still exist, of course.
