Hi everyone, a short working week means that it barely seems like yesterday since we recorded the last Direct, but here we are! We'll be talking about the details revealed about Ratchet and Clank's PC release, the Nvidia AI demo will be under the microscope and we'll likely be discussing Nvidia's ULMB2 monitor announcements. We may even get into the whole 'Dolphin on Steam blocked by Nintendo' situation if needs must. HDMI 2.1 capture cards? That turned out to be a bit of a bust, but maybe we'll discuss that too.

But this is where you can supply your own input and help shape the show! Are there any specific tech topics and news stories you'd like us to cover? Or how about just offering up your usual range of piercing and insightful questions for us to answer. As always, I shall invoke that time-honoured call to action and ask your feedback 'in the comments box below'. The stage is yours!

What are some games (other than Octopath Traveler 2) that are too big for DF?

What's the most impressive technological features of Call of Duty games?

Hi, DF! What is the current stage of PS1 emulation on PS4/5? It feels like this feature completely disappeared from the media space. I remember how they announced to add an option for switching between NTSC and PAL, did it ever came out? Did they add more games from the existing PS1 classics catalog?

Hi all! With the Playstation Q reveal and the CMA's block of the ABK buyout, "cloud" gaming is seemingly the new buzzword on the block. Would you be interested in making a new video comparing the different cloud solutions? At least now that Stadia's out of the picture, that should make the job a little easier for you! Thank you, and love the work you do!

Hi DF Team! The Meta Quest Gaming Showcase had some good announcements, much more than PSVR2 in the Sony Showcase, what are Sony doing, they knew they were releasing VR2, okay it takes time to create the games, but they have not announce anything first party, no Astro Bot sequel, and where is Killzone VR, this would be perfect for a VR FPS and also for online, content needs to be announced, Sony cannot have given up already?

Hi DF Just curious what your predictions are for the Xbox showcase next week. What would you like to see? What are you expecting both good and bad? Anything tech tech-wise you hope to see pushed? Just curious to know as I think it would be interesting to cross-compare the team's thoughts from before and after the showcase airs.

Personally looking forward to Starfield but I'm keeping my expectations in check given Bethesda's history. Would be great to see some sort of raytracing implemented into the PC side of things but I can't imagine Bethesda is going to opt for anything too transformative given the scope of the game.

Hi DF Team. Is XMP necessary for DDR5 RAM? Does it make that much a difference in gaming performance whether its running at 4800hz or in my case 6000mhz? I'd rather my RAM be stable if it means that overclocking it doesn't really deliver any real in-game benefits. Same question applies to the Intel Extreme Tuning app/ tool. I play on an ultra wide 1440p screen, powered by a RTX4090/i9/64GB DDR5 RAM

Hi DF team!! Do you think it’s possible with all the talk about Xbox Series S’s issues with coop in Baldur’s Gate 3 that it could have some indication as to the “real reason” why we didn’t see this feature for Halo Infinite?

Could you take a look at Red Matter 2 on PSVR2? It was done by a team of 4, runs on a heavily modified UE4 in native 120fps on PSVR2 and looks great.

Hey DF Crew! What's your takeaway on the recently announced Meta Quest 3 headset? The Showcase showed some interesting games, but it's very obvious that Meta's approach to mobile hardware hurts the overall technical presentation of the revealed line-up. Given that Sony themselves don't seem to invest a lot in VR software as it right now (unless they have stuff under they sleeves which are yet to talk about), what's your opinion on the status of VR gaming in 2023 and beyond?

Agreed, PSVR2 has been bizarre and hope your question is discussed. From a very muted launch, no state of play, to as you state a very, very lacklustre sony showcase. I was so hyped for it and it's already gathering dust. Even a teaser that something like astrobot was in the works would have been great.. but nothing!

GN recently did a few benchmarks of this: https://youtu.be/cbGfc-JBxlY?t=740 Short answer: for their very limited number of tests it provides around 15-20% more gaming performance.

Thanks. I also spoke with the company that built my PC and they said with 64GB it wouldn't be noticeable in most games and suggested choosing stability instead of overclocking. I'm not using XMP or Intel Extreme Tuning and I am getting a locked 165fps @ 1440p without DLSS on Diablo IV, with no frame dips. That's perfect for my needs at the moment

I remember that video, but the Xbox One version had terribly low res blurry graphics.
