Progress Report - August 9, 2022 (Patreon)

Hello, everyone!

Not much to report on this week. Just chewing away at finishing off these scenes and getting them rendered out.

Post image is the very last frame of the televised segment.

Hopefully next week I'll have everything rendered out.

Speaking of renders, I've been investigating the Frozen project and its rendering issues. Long story short, it's not feasible to render in its current state. Early experiments and calculations have suggested, at the standard 4k high-quality settings I use, it'd take roughly 1 day to render 1 minute of footage for it. At 20+ minutes of runtime, it's looking at 20+ days of nonstop rendering.

I am investigating alternative solutions for it.

But that's for the Frozen project. Overbreed Episode 0 is chugging right along.
