Hello, everyone!

It feels good to finally be posting WIPs again! Can't wait to get into the swing of posting them weekly for October!

Today marks the conclusion of the preproduction for the still-untitled BAS Elizabeth short. I finished off the last of the scenebuilding. Usually, I ask other people to do that for me, but I ended up doing it myself this time around - and I have to say, this is easily the most involved and nuanced scenebuild for a video I've done in a long time, if not ever!

Felt nice putting it together, though, and I am very quite happy with how it all came together! It's predominantly built from Burial at Sea assets, and I think that it all comes together to really sell the "Rapture in its prime" feel.

I think this episode is going to come out great, and I really think you guys and gals are going to like it!

In a way, though, I kind of hope you won't. As I've said before, this episode is a pilot for yet another series of shorts, in the same flavor as Rabbit.Hole, the Phazon Hexology, and Miscellaneous Expenses. Which means that, if the reception is positive as it was for R.H and Phazon, then it will also get a yearly entry. Which then means that 2020, with only 4 shorts being made during that year, already has 3 of those 4 videos committed to R.H, Phazon, and this new series.

I'm not opposed to that, of course! I'm quite invested in this BAS Liz series already, having plotted out the first season already (and even inventing a new visual brainstorming scheme for such plotting), so I certainly wouldn't complain about making more of it! I just wish I was able to make videos faster - I hate only being able to make 4 a year, and when 3 of them are pre-committed, that really hampers the one-off creativity that defined the early years of my voiced-production endeavors.

Regardless, that's enough rambling for now. See you all again on Thursday - the first properly scheduled WIP post!

I will also be making some additional posts tomorrow - one that's open for anyone, and another that's open for my $15-tier patrons. Both will be presenting a poll regarding thoughts on splitting the "1080p Early-Access" reward into a "1080p" reward and an "early access" reward, as part of my refactoring my rewards in the first week of next month. The only reason for two posts is I'd like to get opinions from both people who aren't already at that tier, and separately, those that are - any changes would affect both parties very differently, where one party would be potentially getting what they want for a lower tier, and the other party would be potentially having what they're currently pledging for being "devalued" and dropped to a lower tier.
