Hello everyone!

It's been a long while since this reward was used, and I deeply apologize for it! But here we are, with the first draft of the screenplay for October's short, starring everyone's favorite 1950s scifi vixen!

This short is actually the pilot episode of a new series (yes, I know, another one; I am so sorry!). In the same way as Miscellaneous Expenses and Down the Rabbit.Hole, whether or not this series continues will be based entirely upon public opinion once December rolls around.

Click here to read it! (if it gives you an error at the top when you load it, just ignore it; I don't know why my web-server is trying to parse a text file as a script... You can still read the screenplay just fine!)

Again, this is only the first draft, and I haven't had time to have my voice cast read through it yet and give me their feedback. It is entirely possible that things may change significantly between now and release. But this is, at the least, the skeleton of the short - and the foundation of the storyline, of which I have already outlined out the first season of. So any major changes won't be made lightly.

As a final note, I want to say that the scope of this short has been reduced significantly from the previous shorts. I go into this in more detail below, but the reason for that is the last few shorts were too ambitious to be made in one month, and I very much want to get this short done in only 4 weeks.

Don't let the shot-count deceive you in thinking this is longer than it is. A lot of those shots are arbitrarily breaking up a single-shot sequence, and a lot of others are really quick shots. Ideally, I expect the runtime to fall in the 4-to-6-minute range, as opposed to the 8-to-10 range that the last few shorts have hit.

Half the production time, half the run-time, is the theory.

=====

On the subject of next year's shorts, for 2020, I am changing my schedule from 1 month for a short / 1 month for working on Hiveship, to being 2 months for a short / 1 month for working on Hiveship. This is a result of the fact that every short so far this year has ended up taking 2 months anyways, and consequently I've spent 7 months more or less working non-stop on shorts, without any time to work on Hiveship.

As a result of this, 2020 will only have four shorts, as opposed to 2019's (planned) 6 (actual 5, because I dropped August's to give me time to work on Samus and DazV5 for Hiveship). Two of those four shorts are already hard-locked: Q1 will see Rabbit.Hole Episode 2, and Q2 will see Phazon Addendum B.

That means that there are currently only 2 video slots free for 2020. By the time December comes around, it maybe reduced to 1 free slot. So keep that in mind when the vote for 2020's free slots comes around!

How can you go wrong with Elizabeth? It was Fair Market Value that convinced me that you should be supported! Looking forward to how this turns out!

TheMadMonk is right ... There is no doubt that "Fair Market Value" is one of the most "convincing" videos of recent times. Absolutely I would love to see the result, and see Elisabeth's hips put to good use...

Akab, Thanks! Great (and obviously twisted 😈) minds think alike!
