Rabbit.Hole Episode 2 - Screenplay (Patreon)

Hey all!

So I've been really bad about posting screenplays lately. I don't write them until a few weeks before they start production, and then I just think to myself "there's no point posting the screenplay, since everyone will see what it comes to in just a month!"

But I need to remember that the way I perceive time is absolutely not the standard for everyone. I process time in terms of months and years, the days and weeks just sort of merge into singular blobs for me (if it weren't for my watch telling me the day of the week it was, I'd legitimately be completely lost). But many people live on a week-to-week basis, if not day-to-day.

Combine that with the fact that the "30 days production cycle for shorts" has been slipping pretty consistently as these shorts get bigger, and the fact that Rabbit.Hole Episode 2 in particular is a big project (74 shots in the screenplay; Miranda Versus the Galaxy had 67, and it came out to 10 minutes and took nearly 45 days in total to produce), and I've come to realize I need to just swallow my justifications and post these damn screenplays.

So I am going to do my best to post the screenplays for the shorts at the end of their preproduction months moving forward.

The screenplays will be attached to the posts, like this one. I will also have a direct-read link from my website for them, so you don't have to download to read if you don't want to.

As always, the screenplay isn't guaranteed to be a 1:1 exact copy of the dialogue, or even the play-by-play of shots. It serves as a guide, but as my voice-talent and I decide on better, alternative ways to deliver a line, or I decide on better ways to frame a shot or keep the pace going, things might deviate.

But in general, you can consider the screenplay to be 95%+ accurate to what the final project will be.
