Rabbit.Hole Ep1 - Progress Report 2 [Pick Up ALL the Things!] (Patreon)

I apologize for not having this post made yesterday. A combination of technical issues and some last-second script changes delayed me.

I didn't quite manage to reach my "have the entire project blocked out by the evening of the 15th" goal (was 3 shots off), but I did get it all done! And sent off to Tonedeaf!

The project is looking to be, as it is right now, exactly 4:30 of raw SFM runtime. I don't expect to see that number change much, so expect the final project to be right around 5 minutes, with credits and such.

As you can tell, this episode involves a lot of picking things up and putting things down. All animated entirely by hand by yours truly. I came into this project with barely any experience at all with animating either picking-up and putting-down. I came out of it an expert.  ( ͝° ͜ʖ͡°)ᕤ 

The episode is on schedule, and if everything keeps going the way it is, then it will be ready for an August 30 release.

While Tonedeaf works on the sound design for the project, I will work on polishing up the animations. This mostly involves three things: lip-sync, detail motion, and camera choreography.

Hopefully, at the end of this, the final production will be a matter of simply slapping my final exported render and Tonedeaf's final exported audio together, and It Just Works™®©. Throw in a little bit of color-correction and some VFX for the hologram projections, and we'd be golden.

That's the hope, anyways.
