Progress Report - March 16, 2018 - Week 2 of Blue Star Episode 3 (Patreon)

Hello again, everyone!

Technically this progress report should have been written yesterday, but I spent all day doing a 10-hour modeling livestream of building Jill. By the time we finished, I was too exhausted to write this post. So I am writing it now.

This week saw me finish up all of the cumshots (yes, you read that plurality right) for BSE3, and then add 38.5 seconds of unique animation. That's not loops, but just all raw one-and-done animation.

All of that unique animation is segue animation, or transitions between existing poses. In particular, it's all seguing from the facial I previewed last week to a narrative break, and then from there to the finale (you didn't think he was done with her after covering her pretty face, did you?).

The preview for this post is just a tiny segment of that segue animation. I'll leave it up to your imagination what happens next.

The only animation I have left to do are some segue animations between sex positions in the main course. I want to minimize cross-fades / fade-to-blacks as much as possible, because I fucking hate them. The goal is to maximize "this could all be one long shot", EG make the entire animation consistent and congruent.

That means animating a lot of transitions. But the quality that results in speaks for itself. Once those segues are done, the project will finally be ready for dubbing.

Current runtime for the sex scene is 18:27 minutes, and the entire project is sitting at 23:37 minutes right now.

On the Elizabeth video front, InsideIncognita and I have finally finished brainstorming the dub sequence. It took a while, but when you're trying to conjure up sexy dialogue for sex, creampies, and post-creampie banter for 5 minutes and 5 guys' worth of cream, that can be pretty creatively draining. Especially when adding in parameters of each position having its own mood (horny, cheery, submissive, dominant, and... horny again) and trying to write the lines such that they will be feasibly delivered while the lady is taking a pounding.

In the process, we ended up scrapping one of the 5 animations I had originally built. We just couldn't make any sexy dialogue work for it. We've picked out references for a new animation to replace it.

Once BSE3 enters the dubbing stage, I will be using the downtime as I wait for audio, to build that last animation.

In the meantime, Incognita plans to dub the other 4 animations, as well as finish editing the last of the audio she recorded for it at all. Once I have that new animation built, I will immediately go to work inserting the audio she's done at that time.

On the Leliana short front, I've been in contact with Milly, and the thing that's taking her out of commission is taking a lot more out of here than she expected. It's nothing bad, but it is a pretty big life-changing event for her.

She's optimistic that April will see being able to operate at full capacity again. She's trying to push herself to work faster than that, but honestly, I am content with waiting for April. I picked a really bad time to start a project with her, because this whole thing went into motion a few weeks before our project started, and it started to take its toll on her the very same week I needed her to record.

It is entirely possible that the April short (Jill) will actually be finished and released before the February short (Leliana). I'm not too concerned about that, because I know what's going on, and the audio Milly has sent me convinces me she is absolutely worth waiting for, if I want a top-notch performance and a top-notch Leliana impression.

I hope you all can agree with me when I say she's worth the wait. And if you can't, well... Too bad. Because I'm waiting for her anyways.

On the Jill short front, we spent yesterday doing a livestream build of Jill. We got her fully built, faceposed, jiggle-haired, and outfitted with her STARS outfit:

She's all ready for the sexy mischief I have planned for her in April, and the voice actress I've cast for her is excited to get her naughty-Jill voice on.

I will be writing the screenplay draft for the short this weekend, to share with her for review. Once it has her approval, I will make whatever changes are necessary, and next Sunday I will be posting it as a Screenplay reward.

I think that's really about it. Those segue animations have taken up the bulk of my time this week.
