Progress Report - February 15, 2018 - Leliana Short, 2 Weeks In (Patreon)

Hello, everyone! Another week, another progress report!

Starting off, as evidenced by the video segment this post is leading with, I have been working on animating the intro to the Leliana short! As of 10PM tonight, the intro has been blocked and lip-synced as much as I can get done. You can see a mostly-finished version of it in the WIPs section of our Discord server. I was hoping to get more done on the short, but unfortunately Milly and her family have been battling a cold for this past week, and she's been unable to record. Seeing as my own housemate had that same cold this week, and it totally kicked his ass, there's no one to blame for that but mother nature herself.

Ivan seemed to be spared the cold, though, and managed to get me all of his non-dub audio! So I put together all of the lip-sync for his parts and animated all of the major motions in the intro for him. He also voices the Prisoner, and got me that audio, but the Prisoner is largely reactive, and so I haven't gotten around to animating him yet. That's next!

Over this week, I have blocked out the sex scene, determining the lengths for everything. It's not quite ready for render, though, because it has a narrative break in the middle where Leliana speaks, during which time some dub audio is needed. Once I get her audio, I can finish the dub video and push it out, probably in under 24 hours after getting said audio. Once I get the dub audio from Milly and Ivan back, it will put the short in its penultimate stage, of post-dub lip-sync and detailing; after that is rendering, and then the final stage of post-process editing and sound design!

The last thing I have that I can do without Milly's audio is Ivan's single line for the outro. Once that's done, though, I'm up a creek until I get Milly's audio. I can't progress anything until I have that audio.

BEYOND the Leliana short, I've been making progress in other departments!

Most notably, I released the big tiddy goth girlfriend model for Valentine's Day. I also wrote and published the Blue Star Episode 4 screenplay, and have been playing around with a new outline for an original film idea. That film would be a long ways away, but I'm still playing around with the idea.

I am also working on some new rope bondage props, and they are coming along swimmingly. Not too much work left to do on them, but I just need to find the time to do so. Might work on them a bit tonight.

And, finally, I've finally got the Patreon bot integrated into the Discord server, so it now automatically adds you to the server, if you have a Discord account linked to your Patreon account. No more needing to message me! Yay!
