Blue Star Episode 4 - Rough Draft (Patreon)

I lied. Instead, I'm posting a full rough draft. I want to emphasize rough draft. There are two particular points I really want to focus on, before diving into the draft itself:
Firstly, the length. It's long. I know it's long. That's just the way I write (if you haven't been able to tell, judging from any given post I've made over the years). Once I get into the staging of editing and revising the screenplay, that is when I will start cutting things out. My general goal is to cut out at least 30% from every section, with sometimes as much as nearly 50% being cut, as in the case of Blue Star Episode 3. But I write it all first, so that I have content to cut.
Secondly, this is a very long ways away, and it is entirely possible that things may change between this draft and the drafts that I publish when BSE4 actually begins production.
I still have to finish BSE3 (crossing fingers for getting the dubbing process underway in March!), and then between BSE3 and BSE4 I am tackling Hiveship, and I have absolutely no idea how long that will end up being in terms of production-time. After Hiveship, though, BSE4 is next on my agenda.
I will, of course, keep you all apprised of progress as I make it, and if any major changes are made to the screenplay here, I will similarly notify you all.
Without further adieu, you can read the screenplay draft here. I have also attached it as a download to this file.
The next screenplay I post, in 2 weeks' time (Sunday, February 25), will actually be a design document for a game that I am intending to spend a month on between BSE3 and Hiveship. Everyone I've shown it too thus far has had a general reaction of "That actually sounds like an interesting game, I am surprised," and I am hoping that you all will have similar responses to it. And, of course, I hope that the actual game will have a similar response (and gets finished, for that matter).
Until next time!
