Hey all!

So, I’ve decided that I want to start making weekly progress reports for my projects. Most of them are going to go on Patreon (since Patreon is practically built for these sorts of “bonus posts”), but I’ll throw the occasional one here for everyone to see, just to ensure everyone that the projects are indeed alive.

For this progress report, I decided to post a cut-down excerpt of the post-sex scene of Blue Star Episode 3. This is a 33-second edit of a 65-second scene, and I cut out the audio for a specific name that spoils the story (because, yes, I do actually have a story for this series).

Additionally, this is a direct screen-rip from Source Filmmaker, so it has zero color correction, and the lighting looks a lot sharper and harsher than it will in the final cut. And the finally, no subtitles in this video - the final project, again, will have subtitles.

I think at this point, all of the animation for this scene is final, sans blinking and camera animation. Unless something catastrophic comes up, I intend to get this scene rendering tonight.

Here’s a quick breakdown of everything that’s happened this week, in respect to Blue Star Episode 3:

• Scrapped the last few animations I made in the sex scene because they were the product of my burning out and they showed it (RE: they were fucking terrible, even by my standards, whatever you may think them be)
  
  
• Consequently remade those last few animations, and they are magnitudes better than they were before.
  
  
• Got the first two cumshots (internal) of the planned four made.
  
  
• Secured a voice actress for Femshep’s cameo in the after-credits scene. For those who have been following me for a few years now, it may be a name you recognize - I’m very excited to have learned that she has rejoined the voicing scene in recent weeks, and I am very excited to work with her again.
  
  
• Got all of Liara’s audio for the post-sex scene from Incognita, and most of her audio for the pre-sex scene (there is a single line that I’ve asked to be rerecorded, which she is hoping to tackle in the next few days).
  
  
• Have finished the post-sex scene, with the exception of eye-blinking and camera animation. Planning to have it rendered tonight, which will make 2 scenes fully rendered (post-sex and after-credits).

I don’t expect Episode 3 to be finished before the month is out, but it will be getting pretty fucking close. Don’t hold your breath on this, but I think it may just be viable for a release at the end of March. If not, then I will be really surprised if it’s not ready by the end of May - I suspect any possible delays come March will have to do with getting the sex-scene dubbed, detailed, and lip-synced. There’s a lot of sex scene to dub, detail, and lip-sync.
