Shodoshima Part 1: Takamatsu (Patreon)

I went to Shodoshima today! Shodoshima is in Kagawa prefecture, its part of a chain of islands.

In order to get there, I had to take the shinkansen from Tokyo to Okayama, then take a smaller train from Okayama to Takamatsu. The journey was incredible, I would highly recommend going just for the train ride alone. They take you over this massive bridge where you can see the incredible vastness of the reigon.

Takamatsu is fucking cool tbh, I kinda wanna live here. Small but not too small. The ports are really sick, I’ve always loved the feel of seaside towns.

From Takamatsu you take a ferry to Tonosho. It’s a beautiful ride, there and back. Next, I’ll tell you guys about Tonosho!
