Hey all,

And depending how fast I type this today's character sketch will be arriving on the Saturday as promised, or a little bit after. Let's find out.

So what about that title eh? What part of her is a nun? One might ask, for those familiar with Warhammer 40K you already know the answer. But for those that don't allow me to explain.

40K is a violent, dark place. Everything always sucks forever and there is nothing you can do about it. Still, people have hope, there's faith in greater powers watching over humanity, helping us survive by the skin of our teeth, keeping us (relatively) safe from harm, and leading us into a somewhat better, more positive future where the average life expectancy on the battlefield isn't a couple of minutes, and early 30's overall (I do not actually know what the average life expectancy is in the Imperium of Man, but I do know that for guardsmen and women at least it is abysmally low, a lot of them are not expected to survive even a single battle).

This faith of course, is placed in the God-Emperor of Mankind, or as he'd prefer to be called if he had a say in it (he doesn't) the Emperor of Mankind (Because he's comatose on life support and has been for over 10.000 years). This faith has of course formed intself into a religious organization, and this organization, mostly called under the catch-all term "The Ecclesiarchy" because as most things in the imperium it is incredibly huge and very varied. The Ecclesiarchy holds tremendous power and sway within the Imperium, as worship of the Emperor is the only religion allowed, and also you're just not allowed to believe anything but that specific thing.

The Mechanicum is the sole exception (Or Mechanicus, the terms are often used interchangeably though technically they refer to different things, though the difference is subtle and most people don't know there even is one. And I'm talking out of universe here, fans often confuse the two. To prove this I will confess I myself have forgotten where the distinction lies, but I think it had something to do with pre-Horus Heresy Imperium and post-Horus Heresy Imperium.) They get around this by being the only ehm... "scientific" body within the Imperium and as such hold ALL the useful knowledge on how technology works and how to make it. Or whatever is left of that knowledge. So they are responsible also for ALL of the weaponry the various armies of the Imperium, including the militant arm of the Ecclesiarchy.

They get around this by instead of worshiping the Emperor, they worship the Omnissiah, who holds all knowledge and technology, and they've agreed to pretend the Emperor is the Omnissiah, though a lot of them aren't entirely convinced. Though the Emperor was very smart in his heyday, and knew a lot about tech so... Maybe he is?

But that Militant arm of the Ecclesiarchy, that's where she belongs to. She's a devout worshiper of the Emperor, they used to be simple nuns praying to Emps, until at one point they got militarized by a certain somebody that we maybe will go deeper into at a later point, maybe not. The important part here is that it happened.

From then on they were known as the Sisters of Battle, and they believe in the Emperor SO HARD that sometimes they can manifest miracles on the battlefield, from mild healing and uncanny luck in not getting shot in the face, all the way to getting resurrected as Angelic beings that can pop in and out of reality. Because faith is a powerful thing in a world where your emotions and thoughts will literally manifest themselves in another dimension. Unfortunately all the negative thoughts get manifested as well, and there are a lot of negative thoughts in Warhammer 40K.

Because of the influence the Ecclesiarchy has over the Imperium, they are able to haggle for some pretty fancy gear for their army of battle nuns, gear normally reserved for the legendary space marines. Such as Rhino's (a tank) Bolters (a gun) and power-armour (power-armour). Though the nuns aren't genetically enhanced and altered like space marines so they're not the elite super-soldiers they are. Just normal humans with way fancier gear than the Guard get, and a whole heaping boatload of faith in their space emperor.

This one has huge tits.

So as it turns out, I took too long in typing this out, now it's a bit late now.

On another note I realized a few days ago I forgot to do the Sunday RQR last week. I may do two tomorrow (today technically), emphasis on may. If not, I guess an extra one is coming next week.

SoCarter out.
