In Season 2, Episode 18, All Might told Izuku about the origin of One for All. Since then we know that the both of them where Brothers. That episode aired almost 4 years ago...so yeah, its understandable if you forgot if you only watch the Anime once :D

I think what makes the item for Shinzo so powerful, is in a real situation, the villians may no longer be able to trust who is talking to them, and turns the very vital Aspect of information, into Shinzos best weapon. After all, listening to the voice may result in an ambush or mind control.
