By now i read a few times people saying the plan was for his foot to be stuck

lol, folks kept asking about this show even though i was never mentioned it as a delayed show...

but honestly i see why...this episode was GASSSSSSS.

I know other reactions channels dropped it...not saying any names...👀👀👀

and we stuck with it...low key had regret at some point

BUT BUT it did build and put together a dope story and wow what amazing pay off and...GRIM, the ending of this episode is kinda morbid

....wasn't ready for the obvious truth....anyways...

happy sunday folks...

Runes depend on usage (I presume). For consumable/single use actions, it’s more like magic script (like, drawn or written, the way Marcille was doing), while for persistent effects, it would have to be carved into surfaces (like what Tansu found in various locations of the dungeon, that presumably the dungeon master did). . For a (potential) comparison, in Marcille’s fight with the Undine without her staff, her magic wasn’t as precise; in a similar way, magic script might be easier to place around, but intended for single use, whereas carved runes (into locations or items, like, say, GoW Ragnarok) might be for constant/persistent effects… Maybe. Anyway. . Yeah, that’s why the specific “dragon’s something” last episode was a trip-up, what Namari said was that it could break dragon’s bones and block fangs (which, maybe it could still do), but it wouldn’t work as well as it does as a pot if it couldn’t be heated. That was a spot-check fail for all of them. . The normalization of resurrection is something that seems particular to ‘this’ dungeon, and Chilchuk, Laios and Marcille have each mentioned their ‘first’ deaths to note how familiar it is. There was apparently /supposed/ to be more detail given to resurrection dangers in a previous instance with Namari, but it’s hopefully to be covered next episode when it’s much more relevant (unless they take the plot a completely different direction).

Damn Lee throwing shots at a certain group 👀🤣

I enjoyed the start of the series (helps that I love the dub cast), but it definitely felt like there had to be more coming for Trigger to pick this up for their first ever adaptation.

greenb3ar

Deserved. They've powered through so much mid over the years but wouldn't let Trigger cook!?!

SuperflyAlex

Yeah was shocked. They said it was like only the third show ever they have dropped. Crazy they didn’t let trigger cook

This episode really hit me hard too! Like I knew the dragon wouldn't go down that smoothly and shenanigans would happen, but still it was super serious compared to any of the other ones. 😳

His plan was to stick the leg in there. That was his way of reaching that high spot

Jesse

Time to eat a dragon!

Mantross

Director and Lee are proof that you can be smart, funny as fuck, handsome, AND treat women right (eat their p-word) lmao

This episode showed everyone that it really is made by TRIGGER
