The plot seems generic as hell, but the art style and voice acting makes it feel… nostalgic somehow? I’m digging it. The series director struck gold with JJK Season One, so that’s promising for the action and animation, but he also did the beautifully animated God of High School and that shit was pretty ass regardless. A director is responsible for more than just beautiful animation, and the way he fumbled a GoHS adaptation in terms of pacing and structure has me a bit iffy.

Come to think of it, wasn’t the creator of SAMURAI CHAMPLOO and COWBOY BEBOP working on something over at Adult Swim? With MAPPA of all studios, too? What happened to that anime.. Also, Netflix’s HOUSE OF NINJA looks dope. Haven’t had a solid live action shinobi fest since Ninja Assassin a decade ago.

Man this is one huge coincidence I haven't watched toonami in months I heard about them reairing igpx and started watching and there it was ninja kamui it looked like heat 🔥 right away and was gonna watch regardless but now I get reactions can't wait the only thing that concerns me is the English dub I hope there's a sub because I wasn't a fan of what I heard off the promo I hope this show slaps though.
