If I remember correctly Fuko stopped going to school in elementary/middle school bc her unluck was so dangerous she kept injuring her classmates so that’s why she was so hype seeing a high school in person and not just in manga

Yeah, the biggest problem of this show is the directing definitely, the every episode recaps really feel unnecessary as well some moments, like the triple show of the crimson bullet, the tickling and not doing a better job of explaining that Fuko never went to school so shes excited, which sucks cause it could've easily been a 8 or 9, it's more of a 7.5-7.7 for me

IIRC the spoilers in the opening are pretty superficial and dont really reveal anything about the plot at all. even the andy vs victor one doesnt really tell you anything about why or how.

Unfortunately, I don't think they'll ever watch Children of the Whales, which is a shame. It's such a great show, albeit very much slept upon. I've been waiting on a S2 for what seems like an eternity, and I don't think that'll ever change. 😭

So the reason that Fuko was acting weird while they were at the courtyard was because she's never been to school due to her Unluck powers. She also read a lot of Shoujo manga that more then likely had a school setting. So she was basically excited to finally be on a school campus, something that she never was able to do. It was like a dream for her. As for as Andy tickling her when dude walked in on them, I have no idea honestly, that was weird.
