Sometimes it's really in your face with that uniqueness but others it's really layered in and that may detract some people. But I enjoyed double watchin with yall. Holy fuck, this was epic. I was literally blue screening whenever I thought about where this story could possibly go, with this goofy MC, the history of the world being technologically advanced, but now being a world of swords and magic etc. But they are literally not forgetting about anything and using all the previously established plot-threads to turn this into a fantastic story, wow! The funny thing is Lupa kept bringing up the original girl he saved saying he wanted to see more with that and they literally did it, LOL. This show is 10/10 for entertainment.

Glad manga sites exist. The animated ending in this series does not parallel well with the >Manga. Now if you're talking the LN that's understandable. I don't have personal experience with the source from the LN to back that up, so I won't argue that, but I can safely say the studio took creative liberties with the ending of this episode. Source: end of CH 46, all of CH 47 and onwards through CH 48. He doesn't show up as Shadow to save her in the instance they animated. Him and Beta both warp together into the next world, explore, then eventually come across her and the other resistance fighters.

In the Light Novel they wear mask idk if they do it in the Manga to. So the Anime just made it so that we the viewer can see his face but the characters never will idk why he should've just kept the mask

A really good thing I suggest doing is watching the short episodes they do that come out with every episode (called: Kage-Jitsu) bc they provide some more context/lore for the series, would’ve been better for u to watch every episode on release but better late than never 💀

The tone in the characters voice didn’t sound like a question it sounded like she had heard and known the name shadow previously, there’s a difference between “shadow?” And “shadow.” which is why sheera thinks she might know him

Honestly, I always had a feeling that Japan was gonna come back around somehow. They did quite a bit at the very beginning of this anime for Akane. It almost felt like it'd have been a waste if that were the end of her part in this anime. But here we are. And I'm not complaining. Also yeah. You can surmise what happened in Japan just from what different characters have been saying. Several years ago, Cid went. Monsters and magic came in.

Strangely enough this was the episode that cemented this show as at least interesting to me. I thought it was just a kinda meh parody Isekai but the idea of going back before his story in another world is even finished is quite unique.
