Bam Bam

And I love that y’all done put me on to a whole banger just like with snowfall now all ima say is keep the show REACHER on your radar it’s season 2 is premiering tomorrow 🖤🥲

Jak

FINALLY YESSS

yaz

my goat sydney

Devin B

I've watched videos of chefs in lesser restaurants act somewhat full of themselves disrespecting the staff so I could imagine the disrespect would be on another level in a high end restaurant

Bria A.

Sydney my beloved…

Almightydu

This show to good I gotta watch ahead 😭

Sean Harding

Y'all this is gonna be a WILD one

Anthony Nguyen

I'm a pastry chef who's worked in fine dining, and the depictions of abuse in the kitchen are spot on in a large amount of world-class restaurants. The culture is slowly changing, but the intergenerational-career trauma has deep scars in the industry. I've been in places where the chef would break down cooks emotionally or physically throw plates and pots at the cooks. The opening scene brought back a lot of ptsd in my colleagues who watched it.

britt

if you're in a higher level restaurant they don't take mistakes kindly. they expect you to be at your best at all times. but the disrespect is crazy

Metweet .c

Yeah the way that chefs act on this show, the whole disrespectful stuff is very true. Gordon ramsays mentor marco pierre white was even worse than carmys. And you understand why in like hugh end restaurants why mistakes are not accepted since it affects not just the reviews of the restaurant but the chefs reputation, front of house. Hell people kill themselves if the lose a michellen star. If you have time you should watch 90s documentaries like boiling point just to understand.

Antonio Williams

...can someone clip Roshi hyping Sydney up. We're gonna need that for a future ep. Also no the other head chef didn't actually say Carmy should be dead. That was a dream prompted by thoughts of Michael

Makenna R

Sydney is such a real one, honestly Carmy needs someone who is stable at work lmao

Devin B

Lol I was literally thinking that when Roshi was hyping her up, I wonder what they'll say when they get to that chaos of an episode

ashanti

the way Sheera said “Arbys?” 😂😂 she was shocked and apalled

Jamaal Ellison

Chicago med and Chicago PD shout out. Also Rookie of the year.

E.

Sydney 🔛🔝

Skye Brooklyn

i didn’t think she was wrong but ik roshi and lupa gone pull out the pitchforks and picket signs bro💀

Anonymous

fun fact about the bear the only chef thats acually trained is the only character fac the fat dude

Jigga Man

Why everyone hate on Arby's? Shit slaps

Imari

I feel like that shit still wasn’t even her fault she thought her food deserved something more and it backfired but there was a lot of them treating her like shit before they accepted her

StrawHat

Sydney the goatt

Imari

It’s really good season 2 elevates everything though. The character development, the cooking, the editing, the cinematography, the actors, and the acting all get a huge upgrade. I loved this season but season 2 has my heart.

Antonio Williams

Her intentions were good but I mean...she did leave the machine in for pre-order. The popularity wasn't her fault. Pushing for mobile orders and forgetting to turn off the pre-order was definitely her fault

Jtrggrhappy

I worked at chipotle which depending on the store can be just as bad as this in terms of intensity by no means where we making gourmet food but we where definitely screaming at eachother like we where in Hell’s Kitchen during rushes. I might just be one of those insane people that enjoys that environment. Going from screaming like we hate eachother to smoking during a break is one of the small things I’ll always remember

Expectaytions

Roshi took me out with his alternate universe comment 😭

Delinda Arts

fun fact: Sydney (Ayo Edebiri) also voiced the lead guitarist of The Mary Janes seen in the beginning of Across the Spider-verse as well as April O' Neil in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. I've loved seeing her rise from podcaster to actor.

Pocparks

these episodes are too short ToT but i think thats also a good thing for pacing yknow but damn i need more,, might just blast thru this whole series one afternoon

Devin B

@Skye Brooklyn just to avoid any spoilers, I'm not judging her for what she did initially but for what she did afterwards, she basically didn't take any accountability for her actions

Elle E.

Not the Chicago health inspector being the cop from Chicago PD show lol Love her

Skrappy

The girl who plays Sydney also voiced April O'Neil in TMNT: Mutant Mayhem!

Zim

I love this show so much! Sydney is such a dope character c:

Mubarez Ahmad

Some of these high class chefs really are like that. And you just gotta take it. Thankfully this toxic shit is coming to an end. But it gets REALLY intense in a kitchen, especially during full house

Uly A O

Sydney is up there as one of fav characters in the show. Her chemistry with like most of the cast is amazing and funny. Her one-liners and retorts are the best. Promise Richie does get better in personality. He is pretty insufferable a lot of the time.

Sméagol

Not the one Chicago cast just randomly popping up 🤣 bring back Chicago pd

Devin B

Richie is annoying but he's my favorite in terms of dialogue, half the shit he says and do be taking me out

Imari

Well because the only reason it got to the point where she would even make a simple mistake like that was cause Carmy the episode before was forcing a lot of responsibility on her when she was looking for a partnership they only really began to look at each other as partners after the season finale if carmy listened to her concerns of how she felt overworked maybe she would have never made that mistake

Frederick

I’m sorry that opening scene couldn’t be I would’ve beaten the fuck out of that nigga. Your making mediocre ass food calm down

Vongola Fiamme

i mean i've seen the way Gordon talks to some chefs in Hells Kitchen so if that has any semblance of reality I can see how that chef was talkin to carmy to be somewhat the norm. But im with Lupa dude wouldve had to see me off the line

A. P.

I'm pretty sure Richie found the note there behind the lockers, he didn't place it there, but he decided to put it back behind the lockers probably because he didn't feel right giving it to Carmy. And yes Lupa, that was Spirited Away

NovaVortex

That "Sorry chef! I couldn't wait" line had me dying like Lupa on that one episode of warrior where he famously spoke dolphin 🤣☠️

David Mullaly

Is Barry still happening?

Leo

Some of my favorite people are popping up on this show. We got chicago pd chicago med and my man Jeff from community. When Carmen was cooking them frozen fish stick boxes he definitely going through it because I feel like even sleepwalkers would take them out 🤣. Sidenote I kinda feel bad for Pete he probably caught the two piece just because Carmen was having a bad day unless there's a bigger story he probably just went hey carmy how's New York 😂. Clearly sugar wears the pants in that relationship he thought she told him to shut up and he was wasn't gonna say another word😭.

Nancchi

As a cook, yes, pb&j sandwiches really are something you eat after long shifts of cooking food for others lol. Not all the time but sometimes you’re just too tired to cook for yourself… It sucks but it’ll make do for the time you have before resting up for the next day.

Chelsea Bondzanga

Sydney (Ayo) is up for an Emmy. Very well deserved :)

Leo

I just realized what roshi asked that Rick and Morty ass question. Lupa is 100% correct we won for now at least it is F'ed what we do to them but that beef sandwich though go crazy. At the end day it is what it is and I would have to keep that same energy if roles were reversed them cows be too good R.I.P though 😩.

Tuny kun

I don't remember who I was watching, but I think it was y'all who were like "We've worked in a fast food kitchen before. Trust me, after working there, you shouldn't eat there anymore. Shit's disgusting." or something like that. And it pops into my head every time I go to like mcdonalds lol.

Michael Pamon

Man I was shook when I saw Trudy from Chicago PD I love her. Then when I saw Oliver Platt I said to myself they must all film around the same time 💀

Kablamoo101

waiting to see how long it takes for them to start calling each other chef

Jaelyn Mcgee

I once had a sous chef that spread a rumor about me being a Crack addict while I was out with shingles so yeah that shit definitely happens in kitchens. That was absolutely my last straw at that job, esp since I reported him and nothing happened

Jaelyn Mcgee

I hope they can watch Andor at some point cause Richie's actor is in that and he's amazing there too. But Sidney is probably my favorite out of the cast. I'd love to see them watch Bottoms cause she's hysterical in that

Jaelyn Mcgee

yup. I refuse to work in a kitchen cause of the shit that I've seen, despite loving to cook. Our last head chef at my job would constantly scream at the cooks and throw shit at them on their first day and was surprised when he got fired and arrested

Jaelyn Mcgee

I keep forgetting that's Joel McHale as the chef in the flashback, he does such a 180 from his usual performances

awwtysm

Btw the French Laundry and Noma are real and are extremely influential (Noma is shut down now though).

DannyA

Yo this Arby's slander

Leo

If my man Voight show up it's a wrap he don't have to be a sergeant or anything like that he could just show up for a donut and some coffee and that'd be crazy👀.

James Stephenson

The actor who plays the main character was an addict in his last show that ran for 11 years named shameless.

Devon

Yall should watch shameless the Mc was a great character in that show

Paulothy

Greek Gyros, philly with garlic aoli, cheese sticks, curly fries! Bro Arby's ain't a top pick but it hits if you know what to get. Alot of the hate is truly unwarranted, and from people who don't even eat there 💀

Jigga Man

That's what I'm saying 😂 the fries are A1, the gyros are tasty AF, the regular burger is good too. I don't know if people realize that it's fast food and not Michelin star shit 😂

James

Is it still airing? I haven’t seen it since the sister left the show

J Man

I knew it was Chicago when all those flags made me think of CM Punk's chicago flag shirt

Aerospark

I liked the UK version of Shameless more, but I wish I could put the US versions of Kev and Veronica in the UK version then it would be perfect for me lol

Jean-Marc Mwandulo

Chefs dead be like this, I threw hands with the head chef at a restaurant my aunt worked at he said she deserved to be fucked over and left with the kids and debt, them niggas be wildin, rude asf, and drugged tf out

Panda

These guys shitting on the punch cards, me thinking about my job at a card shop 6 years ago when i had to use those lmao.

Mauricio

Fun Fak (😀): Fak, who is not a chef in the show, is actually an accomplished chef named Matthew Mathison lol. He's also involved in consultations/producing credits on the show to make sure it looks as realistic as a real restaurant kitchen

Frank

Yeah physically assulting anyone is an L, but verbal criticism of ones skill, I can agree with.

Christina Scarfeo

I worked at a very expensive restaurant in LA and I can confirm that executive chefs can be some of the scariest, nastiest people. If your skin isn't a mile thick and made of steel, you won't survive the high end game. It's wild

Christina Scarfeo

Dude...Richie has got to go. I mean I'm Italian and family is the top, but nah. If you're not here to help, get lost

Comfehhh

If you ever see me fighting in the forest with a grizzly bear HELP THE BEAR

Himothy

Y’all gotta watch Blue Eyed Samurai on Netflix ITS TOP TIER

Plz Help

Gonna have to warn others, it's got an absolute shit-ton of brothel imagery. The plot's really good though.

Matt Murphy

i loved lupa just telly roshi to chill, it was the funniest shit hearing a shut the fuck up from one bud to another

jsnipes10

I've worked for my dad and my uncle doing construction my entire life, and recently have been working to take it over myself. This show gives me so much fucking anxiety because it's literally what I have to go through every damn day with those assholes lmfao. I feel Carmy at the end there so hard, bitching and screaming at everyone else for a stupid fuck up that ends up being something I accidentally did.

Dud3 itsj3ff

I love how real the characters feel in this show.

Azaria

had to sub on patron when i saw on youtube

Tellyg47

Great show to get me hooked to patron lol

Rueben Moses

As a chef yes it can be like this but not as extreme but it can really get stressful

raeven b.

There’s a clip out there of THE Gordon Ramsay, quiet as a mouse, as a right-hand apprentice for his chef when he was much younger. The man seemed just as vicious as the man verbally tearing down Carmy. Gordon did his time and earned his place , and then became a tyrant in his own kitchens lol I don’t think Gordon’s mentor was this bad, but yes, chefs can get that scary.
