My theory is that Verna offers them a gentler death. She kept telling Tami to relax and stop swinging. She told Perry not to go through with the sprinkler plan. She told Camille she could have died peacefully in bed if she didn't go to the lab. I'm not too sure about Vic and Napoleon tho.

When I first realized that Freddy’s tale would be the Pit and the Pendulum I got a bit worried he might have a surprisingly positive ending… but I think he and his wife share that story, she gets the beginning and ending, he gets the middle and the “what might have been,” if that short story didn’t end with intervention.

I feel it's more to show that she doesn't blame them necessarily. They are products of their father's actions and beliefs. So she gives them the option for a "better" death if they choose. Similar to how their father gave them the option to join the company. But like how money corrupted their decision then, the power/expectation they have now has corrupted the way they respond to these offers.

And here we have the last kid i feel sorry for. She def has a bunch of issues going on beyond the situation, that whole cuck kink was def a sign of that. But you also got a lot of her trying with how she opened up to bill after she blacked and how she admitted to missing him and miss treating him. Just another product of the toxic family situation. Side note, Arthur is the goat of this series.

I mean that's usually what you do when quoting in papers depending on format style but I just never put two and two together until now. That's really awesome.

That's not the annoying part about her though, she was given the most chances and even had people try to support her and she actively threw it in the trash.
