You know whats great about everyone saying Yhwach in so many different ways, it reminiscent of how it was when the arc first dropped in the manga. We all were guessing how to say it. I was team Yuha Bach.

They cut it but Bazz-B states that his flames were strong enough to cancel out Yamamotos shikai. And BG9 actually did stab Omeadas sister. Kinda sucks they didn’t flesh out more of the characters and keep the tone dark

In the manga Omaeda was more of a coward, nice to see him sacrificing himself for his sister, bazz-b‘s flames being on Yamamoto level was a big joke in the manga Glad they removed it.

Honestly even if Soi Fon had her bankai it probably would've ended up the same way cause her bankai is just a giant nuke, her shikai and Shunko are far more practical for combat and if those don't work then her bankai wouldn't have done much either

I would still say Hitsugaya has a better record overall, he was able to beat the #6 interim Espada and Halibel until she got help from being frozen

The anime cut this line for some reason, but Bazz B actually tells Hitsugaya that the reason he, As Nodt, and NaNaNa survived getting blasted by Yamamotos flames in Episode 6 of season 1 is because his flames are actually hot enough to offset Yamas.

They cut it out to save time and give more shine on Omeada by being able to protect her. So if anything they were fleshing him out, and the tone is still dark.

It was simply to save time, and also not to downplay Yama. Granted there’s always a chance they can include as a rearranging it for later at a better time since this arc is doing that a lot.

It was an odd claim/brag in the manga cause all he did is allow and his fellows to live, they were still one shot casually by Yama’s Shikai. It’s basically “me and my buds survived an attack from your old head captain despite being taken out instantly, see how strong I am?”

I disagree. No one in the series has been shown to be able to offset or even interact with Yamamoto's flames until Royd slices them while pretending to be Yhwach. Everytime someone is blasted with them, even in shikai, they're down for the count (evaporated like Ayon, or rendered unconscious like the Tres Bestia because he purposefully held back out of respect). That's how powerful they are. We all know Yama >>>> Bazz, but him being able to offset a bloodlusted Yamas flames at all is a massive feat and establishes his flames as an actual threat to the other rank and file captains.
