Don´t like the adaptation, they made some of the characters weird when in the comic they're cool, some of the moment's are over the top instead of scary and one of the things that was so good about this was making this normal apartment building in a scary place and asking if the situation is that bad here I can´t imagine how bad is outside and in the adaptation they show all the monsters in the first episode.

Roshi is correct, it wasn't the tv, dude held out a flip phone and was playing a recording to the man about being with a four year old, he was interrogating him or showing him proof. Also the building is trash so I think the spoiled fish was just from being poorly stored. It looks hot in that place probably another reason why its cheap and rundown I liked the transition of the choking to the ramen but I get why many don't and I think the show has a lot of them, not important but just a style. The smoking is more so to give how shitty the place is and everyone coping with their own shit

The webtoon Sweet Home by Kim Carnby and Illustrated by Hwang Young-chan is One of the best webtoons I've ever read. This show is based on that same story but goes another direction, I do not know why Netflix chose to divert from that set story, but I've heard that they did this webtoon dirty from my sister. I myself have not seen it I've been wanting to see it, but I haven't found an excuse, now I have one I love your group reactions.

Coraline and paranorman are amazing movies. Btw each episode of sweet home cost 2.7 million . They used motion capture for the monsters. The people who worked on the visual effects worked on game of thrones, stranger things,avengers and avatar. The show was also nominated and for visual effects among other nominations in different categories
