almost every women not in a position of power is a stay at home caretaker in the series. only takes eyes to notice that. sinbads mother for example. shes a literal housewife. she was sick but even if she wasnt she would still be a house wife. same with every woman in the village. also notice how the army only recruited men to serve and no women. notice how the sasan knights didnt have a single female knight. so yes the roles were switched. she had 0 reason to even say that unless she has some sort of bitter emotion with it. and it was passive agressive how she said it. but the simple fact she said it at all is enough. no one that doesnt hate that housewife is normal thing would even bring it up if they didnt have a problem.
