The actor who played the Fung-hai leader that wormholes Lee’s butt was on the original 21 Jump Street from way way back when Johnny Depp was still new to the world. He’s been in a lot of things including the 21 Jump street movie with Ice Cube. Yeah like I said last episode, this looked like the beat down before the training montage in Karate Kid. No way I expected Ah-Sahm to win.

For Lupa- Tai chi isnt hard to learn and its good exercise. But he usually fights with a combination of Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do (all that bruce lee shit). If you really want to learn to fuck somebody up BJJ is the way to go. Plus youll get in the best shape of your life in a few weeks if you do it regularly. Most studios will teach muy thai as a package deal if you want to learn striking too. Tai Chi is cool, BJJ is serious

the guy that beat up lee? he was in an earlier episode when mai ling went to broker a deal with the mongols (fung hai?). he's the one that made a deal with her on the side and helped to poison the boss so he becomes the new boss. his name is dustin nguyen and he's been acting since the 80s. i mostly know his fine ass from 21 jump street (the tv show) but he pops up everywhere. he was really big in the 90s: seaquest, highlander, kung fu the legend continues, v.i.p......if you ever saw the sequel to the man with the iron fists, he was in that too

Ah Sahm would’ve won if he wasn’t wasting time celebrating after he knocked him out. In reality, him and Li Yong are equal, it’s just that what Ah Toy said was true. Li Yong had something to fight for which was love while Ah Sahm didn’t have anything. Mom’s gone, Dad’s gone, sister betrayed him, Penny stopped messing with him, and a gang that wouldn’t think twice to remove him. He had nothing to fight for but himself. But trust and believe Ah Sahm is called the Warrior back home for a reason.

Ah Sahm definitely put up a better fight than last time but he lacked the motivation to end the fight. Li Yong was dedicated to Mai Ling which was why he was able to make a comeback while Ah Sahm had no real motivation for winning.

At some point could the three of you mention you favorite fights of the show? If you want to wait till after you see season 2 i get it but I’m curious. All the fights are great. Ah Sham/Bolo/ Young Jun fighing the Fung hai in the casino in episode 6 is my favorite and Bolo Vs Ah Sahm in ep 7 is a close second.

Ah Sahm Vs Li Yong is the best choreographed fight of the season in my opinion. The fight in s2 ep5 is a close contender.( won’t spoil who’s in that one, but it’s great.)
