fun fact this is a real case that has happened. also there are thousands of others. in korea the rich is HIGHLY looked upon, many have told stories of how since parents donate money that their kids can literally make a kid commit and they would receive no punishment. wages for teachers are different in korea so relying on rich parents is extremely common. people of lower class are disregarded alot. korea is v different

So this show is based off of a case in Korea. Bullying is actually a super big problem in Korea and it can get to this extreme. The fastest way for the celebrities, think actors or K-pop idols, to get cancelled is to be caught in a bullying scandal. It’s so serious that an idol had to resign from her company after being accused of bullying people only for it not to be true. Koreans don’t let that shit slide and they will ruin you over it.

When I was growing up in asia, teacher do beat troublesome students that are making trouble in school and most of the time their parents knows that their child is a shithead and let the teachers discipline them in school. Nowadays not so much but since the show start on early 2000 then yeah I think its normal at that time for teachers to use physical stuff on students although the teacher in this show is a shithead too.

Came from the Last of Us playthrough and saw The Glory on Netflix. Now I'm starting to watch these. And I would go to jail and then some. I could make a whole paragraph of what I would do but that wouldn't be enough to describe it. But I agree, there's nothing they could do that could redeem them, and I hope at least she puts the fear of God and trauma into them while killing most.
