Gonna watch this later so idk if u commented on the performance but it was all in 2d! The animation and choreography for each of their performances are nothing less than flawless. Side note but Kessoku Band has over a million monthly listeners on Spotify and they just debuted when the anime can't out in October😭 so glad y'all picked this up🙏🏽

What I love about the songs in the show is that they actually perform like an amateur band, mistakes and all. If someone calls them out for rushing or being out of tune, they actually are, and you can hear them improve as the show goes on.

Pretty much. It's format is 4-Koma as in little 4-panel vignettes collected as 8 per page. The entirety of this anime season only goes up to like chapter 21. That's also part of the magic that makes this anime so special - they go way above and beyond what's depicted in the manga in a lot of scenes. The manga wasn't really noteworthy among manga readers until the anime came out.

Since nobody seems to have commented this, the waterfalls is a reference to the "Nice Boat" incident when School Days aired. The anime production team here surely are quirky and funny lol.
