Besides the background scenes, which were dope af of course, did anyone else feel off about this episode and the lack of detail and some lack of animation it had. Multiple shots had a lack of face detail that could have been done if they wanted to. Just in general it felt off.

I know its early but I really hope for another season. The later seasons will be action packed. I've read the manga, and I cannot wait for the later reactions (think people will love it). I don't want to spoil anything but continue to expect good things from Vinland since the writing is top tier.

Damn I loved this episode, thorfinn finally opened his eyes to something else but fighting, murder and revenge. He can appreaciate all these little things and realize how much work all these people put into their lives. Sure he is getting haunted in his dreams by all the murder he commited while he was in askeladds gang but currently he is appreaciating the value of a live. All these little inventions he sees what humans are and doesn't only know the bad side and I hope he comes to the realization, that taking a life just like that isn't good. You need to understand what you are destroying with a single heap of your sword.

I really like this arc. Thorfinn spent so much time full of rage, just trying to survive and get stronger, that he didn't have time to be inspired by the people and the world around him. He's finding reasons to continue living past his need for revenge, and the emptiness that followed Askeladd's death.
