And my list is based on what I've seen in the anime so far. And I just list the players going through imo, its not list on what the rankings I think will be.

I feel a similar way but I wouldn't say "done poorly" it just feels like the manga better encapsulates the story and feel and intensity. Especially when looking at the blue lock art. The art's intensity matches what the manga is trying to make you feel and replacing that with bright colored average animation just doesn't work and makes the intense dialogue stand out more and it doesn't hit the same imo. Even the visual representation feels off in the anime.

Firstly, the auras around the characters (like the green one around isagi during hype moments) could've been soooo much better like really. And also the pacing of the matches seems off i don't get as hyped as when i read, and the animation is inconsistent (distorted faces, etc)..a bunch of stuff lol

That's probably because this is a low-budget anime (literally). If this gets a season two (with the popularity it has it most likely will), it will definitely get an increase in budget and it might start truly living up to manga reader expectations.

I guess my biggest problem is that it’s mostly just slideshows of images and dialogue. There’s some decent occasional animation but more of it would be nice. And it lacks the intensity of the manga art, but maybe that’s because Ive already seen it before.
