Daniel NT

This movie was great, shame it didnt see the big screen. would love to see more like this, viking age etc

Kermit

Assuming the cigars were a callback to Arnie's predator. Made me remember one of his legendary cigar quotes: " I can smoke stogies in my house – first of all because her father introduced me to stogies, and second of all because I'm a stud. I’m ballsy. I don’t take no shit from anyone. I smoke my stogie anywhere I want! I don’t have to find a hideout place like you! Oh ho ho ho!"

Cabral

thanks for the hard work yall be putting out

Alex cleveland

I kinda forgot how short this movie was lol. Still think the OG first Predator movie was the best, mostly because of the legendary cast selection for the movie was top tier! This movie was really solid tho for sure👏🏽 7/10

Wrëck

W upload I love the random movie reactions

EZ

yeah, this movie lacks a cast of characters that I care about lol first Predator cannot be beat.

Ramone Moore

Can you put the next movie reaction on streamable?

Anonymous

Beeen waiting!

EZ

What's the point of basing the story in this era when the actors can't even drop their L.A accents lol

LiquidXGravity

Definitely need a predator movie in the fuedal Japan Era where a Samurai fights the Predator

Trashthlete

I said it before and Ill say it again. RRR is a great film and Andor is an underrated series

Carlos

And that's why I watched the Commanche dub lol. Much more immersive to my untrained ears.

Alfredo

N1ckv3n

No Game No Life 0 sooner or later please

Dunno2000

If it's not too much trouble, could you start adding a movie tag to your movie reactions? They're kinda hard to parse through

Kisuke01

I am Legend has fucked up my view on dog companions in movies

Cane Tejada

Mf you mean Adrian BRODY🤣

Gundeals

Bro the bear trap was invented in 1929 how they one of those 😭

Smash Bran'Discootch

Did you ever see the comic that explained the comic Predator 1718 that explains the significance of the pistol the predator gives to Danny Glover at the end of Predator 2? Because THATS the movie they need to make!

J

Who makes bombs that require the enemy to stand there and stare at it for 20 minutes like that lmao? and jesus christ that predator sure did become terrible at the end there

Kingmakaii

It will forever be funny to me that bro punched that bear so hard he broke bro neck lmao

iCY

Where can I watch this?

CentipedeKid

How can she be happy at the end of the movie? Her brother and all the village men besides the chief are dead. That village is screwed.

Jarelle Hamilton

they did the whole movie in the Commanche language too, but most people will just watch it in English for convenience sake

Yahroh

Yo If Roshi hasnt seen the Predator movies. That might have to be on the Agenda

Anonymous

Completely second this. RRR is a must watch, and Andor is a masterclass

Smash Bran'Discootch

So the thing about the Predator species is that they have a HUGE honor code. Killing noncombatants is considered to be extremely cowardly. When the girl was caught in the bear trap with the trappers approaching and the Predator backed off, it did so because at that moment she was a noncombatant. She was trapped and helpless so it would have been dishonorable to kill her. Earlier, you saw how the predator's display scanned their bows and arrows. That wasn't a "oh, they just have these trash weapons? I can take them." it was more "Oh, they're carrying weapons? It's fair game then."

WAY

RRR was long as hell, but was surprisingly fun.

Jarelle Hamilton

When the predator showed up and was wrestling the bear I literally yelled "HELP THE BEAR!!!" XD

ERRORCODE616

Apparently this was the first movie ever dubbed in Comanche. And the production team did a ton of research on accurate Comanche clothing, weapons, tools, etc. A lot of First Nations critics loved the movie. Also, y'all missed the bit during the end credits where the art depicted more Predator ships showing up at the end. So this movie is probably gonna get a sequel, which I am all about. They made excellent use of weapons and tools of the time for some good ass fight scenes.

nycdame

so i’m not the biggest fan of sci-fi but i’m giving predator a try and following along. basically these predator niggas are alien hisokas looking for strong people to fight? 😂😂😂

J C

The end credits show that the ship came back to the camp. Kinda like how they did in AvP. Kinda like " oh iight, you killed one of ours...good on you" at least thats how I took it.

Chris

I love this movie and really loved that they don't explain a lot of the plans but let you pick them up by context. Shit like not explaining the French burning the forest to disable his camo so you just gotta figure it out is sick. Also, that pistol is a reference to Predator 2. It's a trophy they have and give to the main character after he kills one of them. If you pay attention during the credits they set up a BUNCH of predators showing up to come after Naru.

TheOGDaffy

Predator vs Goku lmao this nigga Roshi

Anonymous

from what ive read predators like fair fights so they will use similar weapons as their prey and the plasma casters (shoulder gun) are only given to predators after they complete a rite of passage (hunt). similar to the native americans and that staff

Trashthlete

RRR is an Indian Action, Historical Epic. The best way I can describe it is that it has every over-the-top trope that makes anime great but without being cheesy despite it being live-action. The crew would love it and fill the reaction with endless "Yeah?" Moments. If u want a peek, almost every reactor under the sun (The Normies, Blind Wave, Rt Tv, Mellverse, etc.) Has already reacted to it, or u can see it yourself on Netflix. It is AWESOME.

EmoBurrito

Movie was dope, even though the alien's tech made no sense lol. Space ship, invisible camo, heat detection, some weird floating bombs, etc. But he has no armor or guns. Was still a solid 7/10 for me, the alien tech inconsistency was just kind of funny.

Alfredo

I give the movie an 8, but the Predator getting beat tf up at the end was stretching the believability. Dutch (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and Lieutenant Harrigan (Danny Glover) fought their asses off and they still just barely survived. Naru should've struggled more before leading the Predator to the bog. You'd think as some of the Galaxy's best fighters, Predators who have methods of fighting if their BioMask was compromised.

David

The main actress (Amber Midthunder) is playing Princess Yue in the live action Avatar show

Jalen

Listen they found out Predator John got his ass whooped on earth and said "Ayo...we gotta upgrade xD John got killed with mothafucks with spears and and rope. SPEARS AND ROPE MY G."

Dude559

Srry but using a beartrap as a weapon is the coolest shit ever

Val

Andor is a very pleasant surprise, Expected another reference filled throwaway show, actually fantastic show is what i got.

Lamaree Jackson

Predator movies are always enjoyable on some level. (We don’t talk about AvP 2). And I love that no matter how random the setting, they still make sure to connect it to the other movies. Like they had the trophies Sanaa Lathan received for helping kill the Xenomorph queen. Nerdge for little lore points like that.

Matthew Bankston

Soooo, yaw missed the whole end credit scene huh? Well, since you did, just and FYI the gun Naru gives the chief is the same gun, Danny Glover is given in Predator 2

Hasnain Khan

Yehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Quincy

The other Predators that dropped him off were monitoring his hunt from the ship. They don’t like to leave evidence of their existence so they always retrieve the bodies and tech of dead Predators.

KeYo

okay so this movie was actually pretty good. i just have one thing about the reaction though. through out the movie lupa tryna humanize the predator like omg that so excessive like bro lol. its a alien predator coming to hunt the life on earth like huh? either way great movie.

Zarvick

I don’t remember history exactly. But at some point when colonizers were spreading their territory, they started killing all the buffalo. They didn’t do it to hunt them but to piss off the Native Americans cause they saw the animals as sacred I believe. I don’t really remember the whole thing exactly but that’s pretty much it.

EZ

only good ones are the first 2 the rest are shit lol

Invader Rin

So fun fact, the Perdator's shield was inspired by Kratos' shield.

ApplePieOG

I love the early parts of this movie. Just random shots of woods and everybody scared as fuck for nothing xD This movie is so good tho!

Smash Bran'Discootch

Theres a comic called Predator 1718 that explains where the pistol came from and why it is significant and why that predator gave it to Danny Glover. They sorta did an easter egg of it here without saying "hey this is the same gun". The way they treated it in the comic was a lot cooler, but i'm also not mad at this movie for sort of using it.

Trashthlete

They didn't really kill the Buffalo on a Massive scale until the late 1800s, and that's because of 2 things: make way for the Railroads and use their hides for leather for parts of factories. That's why they just left the carcasses rotting. The starvation of natives was more of an afterthought.

Andrew W

I will 100% give this movie my suspension of disbelief regarding the hatchet-on-a-string weapon (and some dodgy CGI here and there), because this was a fucking amazing ride! Right up there with the original, and easily the second-best of the series. I only noticed this on rewatch, but it looks like this Predator is deliberately matching the rough 'type' of weapon it is fighting against with each prey to what it is willing to use in response. Against tooth-and-claw animals (the snake, wolf, and bear), it only uses its retractable claw weapon; once the Comanche use hatchets and bows and arrows against the Predator, it starts using its spear and dart projectiles; once the French use a net and bear traps, it answers with the slice-and-dice net and the floating mines. I really appreciate the thought and care that went into this film, in terms of when it adds something really new and fresh (like the Comanche perspective), when it just leans into being a rule-of-cool action movie, and when it cashes in on the nostalgia ("if it bleeds...").

EZ

if only you knew how many things they got wrong in this movie lol

Andrew Bourgeois

they only drop off junior hunters on earth. its a test of sorts

Tirzah

That was an epic reaction! Y'all gotta watch this back to see your facial expressions cause they took me out. And Lupa..... @42:00 with that oh so she'll stay covered up and that will protect her from him, then the transition had me dying

Spawn_tiger

can yah react to the grey man the netflix movie

Revstarallstar .

. Ya’ll should do the other pred movies lol

Oscar

oh no they missed the actual ending in the credits

Yahroh

I have a thing for watching and riasting bad movies

Dragon

i would love a movie every week or 2 if possible

Mervyn Larrier

no it was a main part of it. Specifically, saying shit like "A Buffalo dead is an I***n dead"

Anonymous

I thought it was inconsistent with the tech too, but now I think it may have been a purposeful choice. The predators usually don't wear super heavy armor (as far as I know anyway). Plus the predators have a code of honor where they try to fight fair. When the predator fought the bear he only used his hands and claw weapon. When the predator fought the trappers he used more advanced weapons because the trappers had more advanced weapons. When the predator fought Naru he used moderately advanced weapons. The predators (both in the movies and comics) like to test their skills as hunters so they try to keep the fight as fair possibly can. This predator also seemed like more of brawler so that might also be why he doesn't have any armor.

Mari

Are we still getting uploads today ?

Anonymous

Pretty much lol. If you ever decide to dive deeper into the predator lore, there are plenty of comics that expand on how predator culture works. Also the comics are pretty good in general so if you like comics you should definitely give them a try.

V

This is way funnier that it should be. Trio is too much

WackySwacky

Agreed, it was nice that the Predator was "fair" in the weaponry it used, but also by this logic it should have pulled out the laser gun once the fur trappers starting shooting it with flintlocks.

delete

They had a variety of traps prior to 1929. Not sure where you're getting that from.

Savage

Yeah when are they uploading Cyberpunk then? Sometimes they upload late but idk.

moist mage .

they are just messing with ya, it should be dropping sometime tonight.

Dra3vnn

Hair looking good Lupa 💯

Mervyn Larrier

This Predator is basically a Viking mentality-wise. What matters the most is the quality of the battle, which is why there was that whole scene of it flexing on the poachers

Devin Witt

I believe the director, or somebody on the writing staff, confirmed this was a Young Blood on his hunt to earn the plasma caster as well? Also the design of the Predator was done to hint him coming from a more arid climate/planet, or a different tribe than the ones we've seen in other movies. Lots of cool lore that I am glad was respected/included. Still prefer the original Raphael Adolini pistol story from the Dark Horse comic, but the movie was solid overall.

Jarren Jenkins

The only things I didn't like were the final fight being a bit lackluster. She defeated the Predator a bit too easily and I wished they showed the Predator Chieftains coming down to give her a reward like they did in the previous films.

HarmonicsAsmr

Just read the cómics and you will understand on why his tech was not as advanced

Argo2Unitard

To be fair, the entire movie was basically an ongoing fight where she slowly figured out a plan to take out The Predator. It's not like she punched it to death, she lured it into a series of traps with her life as the bait.

Louis Kalman

Good movie overall but one Hollywood trope really annoys me. No way you knock someone unconscious and they sleep through you dismembering their leg, stopping the bleeding from killing them, and then dragging them into a rat cave in the 1700s. Come on. I can suspend my disbelief with movies knocking people out for hours and they wake up good as new, but that was ridiculous. And in the final fight the predator that bodies a bear unarmed and slaughters everyone in one hit does nothing with direct hits to the 120 pound girl who couldn’t handle a lion a day earlier. She’s not even remotely affected by being thrown around and shield bashed. Just the typical final girl battle. Anyways, plotholey in the typical convenient movie way but still a good one.

Samuel Cuello

Im pretty sure you were supposed to dispel your disbelief around the time that the 120 pound girl took out 15 grown niggas in their own camp.

Cameron Eldridge

Yeah i agree, it has become very hard to enjoy most movies without just ignoring things like that

earthphoenix7068

Wow her bow snapped because it was wet. Chekhov's gun

Himothy

predators enjoy fair fights for the most part, hence why he didnt finish her off when she got caught by the bear trap.

CT

I read that the dog, while cute, was actually very difficult to work with. They found a breed that was very similar to what the Comanches had, but the dog herself was totally untrained by movie standards and just kinda ran amok.

Argo2Unitard

You're making it sound like she challenged the predator to a fair 1v1 and punched a hole through it's chest. She ran away as she led it into a series of several traps that would disorient and guide it into a final one that would guarantee a kill. All of it involving knowledge that she as well as we the audience were clearly shown throughout the movie.

Louis Kalman

I’m not upset she defeated it. Most of the story is Chekhov’s guns being fired in the final fight. My problem isn’t that she won, it’s that the same Predator that killed a bear with a punch throws her 10+ feet several times, has solid connections with its shield, body slams her, and she’s barely dazed. You can argue it’s getting weaker as the fight progresses but it still seems off. MCs are just built different I guess

Kaila Bowers

hope you guys end up doing more movie reactions, I really enjoy them and end up watching movies that I would never watch on my own

EmoBurrito

@Cole See I would find that answer appropriate if it wasn't contradictory to what we saw. Many times in the movie when the predator found himself in trouble, he put the invisible camo on, that right there shows that the "code of honor" they have is inconsistent too lol. Its not a fair fight, any way you put it the alien tech inconsistency just seemed like lazy writing. But like I said still had a good time with it. (Besides the facts its an 8 foot alien that can knock out a bear so the fight wouldn't be fair anyway you see it)

Nate Douville

I own that type of dog and they are SUPER easy to work with when trained right, but if you don't have them trained up its like working with a todler.

Jaime Ruiz

The moment that Predator hit her or choke slammed that 90lb girl. She shouldve been dead. ain t no way shes taking a single hit from a 300lb alien freak that one punched a bear.

CT

Same is true for ANY human who has ever fought a predator…predators are like 8 ft tall, 400 lbs! No one ever defeats these fools with physical brute force, they have to be clever. It’s basically the whole point of the franchise.

DxShadow

yeah i liked the movie, predator went out like a bitch tho

Kurumi

also to double down on what he said.. in terms of lore this is the 2nd predator to come to earth the first being a young blooded predator while this was a young feral predator. Its shown throughout the movie how reckless and lack of battle experience this predator has. Ultimately the predator overestimated itself and underestimated its prey. The overall "final fight" may not be as exciting like previous films but the writing leading to it was top notch

Safire

aint no way she weighs 90ibs lol. she has to be mad skinny and short

vesra

The thermal vision is actually how they see, but it gets amplified/buffed by their helmets.

Noah

They show in the credits that does happen

Ryu

I hope that someday you will react to "The Eminence in Shadow". It's a pretty good and funny show. :)

Chimera134

One thing at around 57 when Naru gets trapped and the predator just grabs the chain and stares at her that Sheera alllmost had right. The Predator didn't run away because of the people (well it did to hunt them right after) it was seeing if Naru was capable of hunting back, or if she had become the "prey" to another "hunter". It's dishonorable to kill a creature that can do nothing back. If Naru was a hunter with a weapon in her hand he'd have slaughtered her there. But since she didn't have a weapon out, and was trapped and unable to flee she was helpless and no longer Prey for him.

Infinity

brace for 100 cringe comments from people who've never fought a day in their life and dont understand the basics of weight class that defend a 100 pound girl wrrestling down and eating shots from a 300lb+ 8 foot tall monster that bench ppresses 3 ton bears like its nothing.

Phroug

Anyone else find that campfire scene weird as fuck? Like the Predator can still SEE cold things, why did he walk past the girl as if she was invisible or some shit? Like he really walked directly past a blue object shaped like a human woman and went "Hm, I'm sure that's nothin."

Kevin Brown

Was confusing to me too. This predator seemed like he wasn't one of the most brightest, I feel like he took alot of free damage the whole movie just to get a literal feel of how lethal some things were. Awesome movie even with some of the inconsistencies though.

YungZeus

I thought the camouflage don’t hide their wounds when they’re bleeding?

YungZeus

Pred got folded by that bear. Fucked around and found out. Also don’t understand why the bear stopped attacking.

Chad

bro LOL the mystikal line killed me

Senjioh

So this is just as good if not better then the first Predator can we all agree on that this shit was S tier

Johnathon

I laughed my ass off every time y'all tried to predict what was about to happen and then get immediately clapped. Especially the mud part.
