Reim literally proving why Mogamett is right. They keep spouting this bullshit about how people should decide how they should live, but then using petty excuses to invade the country of magicians to tell them how to live. Remember it's not even Magnostadt who attacked first, it was Reim. To them magicians don't get the right to decide how they live, literally solidifying Mogamett's point of how Magicians need their own country. Instead of having friendly relations, they go and invade. Reim is literally very similar to USA, they go attack the middle east for "peace keeping" sends hundreds and thousands of soldiers to die. But then pulls out the moment they can no longer get anything out of them. They are hypocrites. Also as you could see Magicians doesn't necessarily hate gois, they didn't use soldiers as meatshields but rather they are protecting them. But at this point they don't really need them anymore they'd be more helpful helping inside tending to the sick instead of just getting rescued in the frontlines lmao.

What authorization and restrictions are there in these times? Scheherazade sent a spy to Magnostadt as a pretext for starting a full on bloody war with the nation even though said 'captured' Reim resident didn't even want to be in Reim anymore, she was practically the perpetrator & aggressor in this yet its portrayed as her being in the 'right'.

Magnostadt mages don't really come out of Magnostadt, It's more likely that gois came to buy the weapons, and then brought it back to their countries. Or someone else was spreading it on their own, like how ythnan gave those weapons away to rebels in balbadd. So technically speaking, the mages weren't illegally selling those weapons, it's more like the gois were illegally smuggling weapons to their own country.

Yes, it was indeed a petty reason to attack. That's why Mogamett called it a "pretense" they always intended to attack the "kidnapping" of a "imperial royal child" is just an easy way to make their attack seem just to other countries and try and politically handle any outside interference which may come about.
