I mean I’ve watched the episode 4 times now and at first the cgi really threw me off and at times it does look strange but I think they did a good job with it overall. I think the main problem is that he doesn’t have a shirt on so like his head looks very weird in cgi with how the wires are connected to his torso. But I think once he has like a full outfit on the model might look a lot better.

The story/plot and the world building is phenomenal, but the series feels like a documentory rather than a story. It is more plot driven than character driven. So, it depends if you value plot more or character.

I dunno how you came to the conclusion that he did an incel thing. Do you not know what "incel" means? Because its not the technical definition of just "involuntarily celibate" (which sure he would fall under that then). But by the current understood meaning of "incel", how exactly does he qualify? Being broke, depressed, and lonely doesnt make someone an incel. The very end he even focuses more on the fact that he is offered bread with jam (and other breakfast things) than trying to get laid. so... not really sure how you got hes "doing an incel thing" out of that.

It does't suck but chainsaw man deserved the same treatment jujutsu kaisen got, full 2D with CGI supporting it rather than CGI being the main thing in some scenes. Truth is that just good CGI will never be good on its own if it's mixed with phenomenal 2D, you either do full CGI like dorohedoro or you do both fantastic 2D and CGI like Kimetsu no yaiba.
